David Gray's carreer hit a new high last night as he was nominated for the best new artist grammy.

Gray has become a huge success this year in America with his album White Ladder.

That record is one of Irelands biggest selling albums after shifting a staggering 320, 000 copies. The album is still riding high in the UK charts.

Late last year it became the biggest selling non-compilation album of orginal material in the history of the Irish charts.
