THe ending is one of the best twists that i have ever seen in a film of this type, and the acting is superb. I cannot say all that i want to say in this review, but I definetly liked this one. |

I think this was a good movie.It is about 3 angels, Lucy Loo, Cameron Diaz and whats her face from E.T. They try to find a Mr. Knox who's been kidnapped. There are many unsuspected surprises in this movie.This movie has no plot and bad writing but some good action sequences that the guys will appreciate. |

Erin Brockovich works for this law firm, but her position in it is really low because she doesn't have a law education and not much of an education in most things. What she has is spunk and one day while she was filing something she found this estate plan with doctor notes in it. Erin became curious and she began to dig around. She discovered that the water in some people's home was contaminated and they had all these diseases and serious nosebleeds and other things. She then goes around trying to get information with her boss, the lawyer. They're trying to prove that the water company is wrong and to make them pay.
I think this is really a good movie. The thing that makes it so good is that this was based on a true story. This movie involves a little bit of everything. There's a little humor in it and some other things. I wonder if this movie has received any reward because it should. I think this movie just captivates people because of the seriousness of this movie and that this really did happen.

2.5 Everyone says that the worst thing about "The Green Mile" is that it's too long... I, however, don't think it's to long at all. "The Green Mile", along with "The Shawshank Redemption", is one of the very few movies that I've started after 9 PM and stayed awake for. And I've fallen asleep on some great movies, including "Die Hard with a Vengence". But not on "The Green Mile"...Pack a box of tissues because you will be in tears by the end of this movie |
This movie related the tale of some old dude (Hanks) in a nursing home who tries to relate the tale of when he was a prison guard in the Green Mile while there a prisoner accused of raping and killing 2 girls heals the wardens wife from cancer..I fell asleep after the 1st hour but then at the end it got good--Hanks is remarkable as always, but the guy who stole this movie was no doubt Michael Clarke Duncan who was incredible. He showed he can cover a wide range of emotions and played the role as perfect as Stephen King had written it.I agree too long--Buy Now and Enjoy!

I had to close my eyes a few times in this movie, but as a thriller it was pretty good. I liked the effects, and its entertainment value alone didn't let me notice whatever holes the plot had. It is a visual masterpiece and I agree with u--a MUCH easier plot than the first Mission Impossible which is hard to understand.I really don't understand why everyone hates this movie. I think this is a gr8 action movie because it is directed by John Woo(who directed most Jean Claude Van Damme movies, face/off,etc)Cruise Rocks--especially at the beggining of the movie when he is all climbing the mountain without safety gear.

Although I didnt think this was one the funniest movies ive ever seen i did like it.Eddie Murphy shows his talent by playing many different characters which you would not think are being played by the same actor.Also in this movie is Janet Jackson who plays Shermans girlfriend which I thought was a good actor for the part.All in all I would advise you to see this movie if you have nothing better to do. |

Even though the book was much better, I loved the special effects that this movie had. It is a great story though and it is a true story, I guess that is what makes it so interesting. It is a story of a fishing crew who is at sea fishing when three storms collide to create the "perfect storm". It is not a happy story either, all the men die. It is well worth watching though. |
I did not think I was going to like this at all but I was really thrilled and entertained. The storyline is strong and the acting is very powerful. Full marks all round for a very high quality movie with believable characters, ( based upon a real life story). The photography is just superb and George Clooney is gr8!e. This movie was much better then I thought it would be. It is a Horror movie, but it takes a different approach of trying to scare you. You don't see much dead people but every time you do, its scary. There is one part in this movie that scarred the hell out of me. I can't find any bad reviews for this movie, so you should go see it, and if you don't get scarred you won't be mad cause the movie hold's your attention and is funny on some parts.
