The next morning, everyone woke up to a delicious smelling breakfast. Everyone but Leighanne that is. She had gotten up a little earlier than the rest to make the breakfast.
"Mmmm, something smells really good." Brian said as he made his way into the kitchen.
"Thanks." said Leighanne. "Are the others awake?"
"How could we not be? This smells great! What are we having?" said Suzanne as she stumbled sleepily into the kitchen, followed closely by the others.
"Let's see, we have bacon, eggs, hash browns, pancakes,toast, sausage and Donald Duck orange juice, and of course milk."
"Wow." That was all anyone could say.
"Well don't just stand there, sit down and eat!!" Leighanne told them. "I didn't do all this for nothing."
They all sat down at the table and ate. When they were done, they took showers and got dressed.
"I wanna go to the mall," Kristen said. "Anyone wanna go? It's more fun if you go with other people."
"Sure! I haven't been to the mall for a while. Let me go get my purse," Cass said. She ran upstairs, grabbed it and ran back down. The girls all got into Suzanne's car. The boys stayed home and watched movies and played video games.
"So when do you think would be a good time to talk to Cass?" A.J. asked the others.
"I don't think tonight would be good, since we just got back." Kev told him.
"Okay, so when should I talk to her?"
"I don't know........a couple of days?" Howie suggested.
"Maybe we could do it over dinner. But I want one of you there for support." A.J. told them. "Hey Nick, maybe you could invite Mercedes, sorta a double date thing."
"Okay sure, I'll talk to her tonight. Oh, by the way I just kicked your ASS! Hah, you lose!! Ha,ha,HA!!!"
"You're enjoying this too much," the defeated A.J. said to a gloating Nick.
"You're damn right! Ha, ha!"
Meanwhile, back at the mall,"Oh this is cute! I should get it!" Cass held up a baby blue spaghetti strap dress.
"Does it fit?" Mercedes inquired.
"I don't know. It's the size I normally wear, but let me go try it on to make sure. Be right back."
"Oh!" exclaimed Mercedes, "Hold on, I found something I want to try on!" She went over and grabbed a cami halter dress and followed Cass to the dressing room.
"Well,do they fit?" Suzanne asked when the girls came out.
"Yup!" they answered simultaneously. They went to the checkout and paid for their purchases.
"What time is it?" Leigh asked.
"Oh wow", said Cass surprised. "It's almost 6!"
As they were leaving the store they heard shouting. "I'm gonna mess you up good!" someone yelled. The girls turned to see two guys fighting. When one pulled out a knife the girls quickly ducked into the nearest store for safety.
"I don't know what that's all about," Kristin told the others, "but I don't want to find out the hard way."
Soon mall security showed up and took the brawlers down to the security office to await the police.
"Boy am I glad that's over!", said Leighanne to the others.
"Yeah, me too," Suzanne agreed.
"I don't know about the rest of you but I'm ready to go home!" exclaimed Mercedes.
"Yeah, especially after that," Cass agreed.
When the girls got home at around 7 PM they brought McDonald's. A.J. shouted, "YOU ARE GODDESSES!!!! I was craving McDonald's. What'd you get?"
"Cheeseburgers and fries for everyone!" Suzanne exclaimed. "Fifty cheeseburgers and six buckets of fries."
"FIFTY CHEESEBURGERS!!!!!" Kevin said in shock.
"It might sound like a lot but it really isn't,"explained Kristin."It averages to 5 each and I know you guys will eat more than that."
"And the leftovers are great cold for breakfast!!" chimed in Howie.
"We also went to the store and got drinks." Leighanne informed them. "We got Dr. Pepper, Coke, Sprite, A&W Root Beer, and Black Cherry Shasta."
"Looks like you got it covered," Nick said." Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm hungry. I vote we eat."
"I second that!" piped up Howie. With that said, they all sat down to eat. When they were done they talked a while, then decided to watch a movie. "What should we watch?" asked Howie.
"What's anybody in the mood for?" Nick asked. "I've got a lot of movies."
"How about a romantic comedy?" Mercedes suggested.
"Yeah!! Do you have 'What Women Want'?" asked Cass.
"You're in luck, I do. I also have the movie," Nick smirked. Nine people groaned loudly.
Nick popped the tape in and they all got comfy and watched it.
"Omigosh!!", Brian exclaimed when the movie was over."It's almost 12:30 in the morning! We should go to bed."
"Some people already have," A.J. pointed out, as he looked down at Cass, who had fallen asleep on him. Then looking and seeing an unconscious Howie, Suzanne,and Kristen, who had fallen asleep on Kev.
"Should we leave them here?" Leigh asked.
"Well, we could leave Howie and Suz here but since when we get up we're probably gonna wake up Cass and Kris anyway we could just carry them upstairs."
"Sounds good," agreed A.J.
They got up, carried the two girls upstairs and went to bed leaving Howie and Suzanne on the couch.
