The air around you hums with energy, some sort of energy you've never felt before, you step through and find yourself in a whole new part of the swamp. Blood Light steps in behind you. He smiles a sort of dragon smile at your obvious shock. Woosh! A furry black shape jets by, does a perfect 'U-turn' and comes racing back.

   "Ah, hello Blood Light, I see the Temp Portal is open today." The shape is actually a unicorn type creature. Fire flies from it's mane, tail, and hooves, you back away to keep from any accidental burns. The unicorn like creature looks at you next. "A human!" It snorts than grins. "Hello, human, I'm a Firecorn going by the name Orion." It stomps a hoof, not waiting for your answer. "A Whorling came to live with me, wanna see?"

   You nod and follow behind Orion as he trots off, on the way you converse with Blood Light.

   "What's a Whorling?"

   Blood Light pauses, as if thinking hard before answering. "A Whorling is anything, something out of the ordinary that lives in the Whorl, a kind of portal. They can be adopted and go to a new home. It's hard to explain, really, Myrror was never really specific when she told me."

    Ahead of you, Orion comes to a halt, something blue and very large has just stepped onto the path. 

    Wings of sapphire like the endless waves of the ocean open into a majestic waterfall of light and color. Silver talons like chips of diamond glitter coldly to reflect the chill of the creature's eye. He smiles at you and you shudder. Orion stands off to the background grinning like mad. The creature leans forward, sniffs deeply, and touches you with an experimental nudge of it's nose.

    "Hello." His voice is slightly disoriented, tainted with something unworldly. "I go by the name Arashi, or Tempest. I'm a Whorling from the Whorl." He looks at you, expecting you to reply about yourself, you oblige willingly, who are you to argue? 

   Blood Light soon beckons you to follow him back through the Temp but Arashi beckons you to follow him instead. Where to now, traveler?
