"Fin Flash, you're frightening the visitor." A furry crimson head pokes out of the water, sleek and slippery. Slanted golden eyes focus on you and you find that you can't turn away. The same misplaced feeling that you felt with Arashi floods out and around you, the eyes narrow and you finally can look away, you feel the world spin for a moment, than opening your eyes, you are careful not to stare directly at the creature.

    "You're a Whorling too, aren't you?" 

    "Of course."

    Arashi sighs. "I waited for Fin Flash to come and hoped. You don't know how horrible it can be to be different and even though treated kindly, you feel as if you aren't really here and now but more of then or will be." 

    "You'd be surprised." You reply, than stepping back, you realize how bold you have just been. Arashi could tear you apart with two claws and hang your shreds from a tree for the birds if he wanted.

    The blue Whorling blinks, stares at you for a long moment, than lowers his piercing gaze solemnly.

    "You're right."

    Fin Flash gives a harsh bark of surprise. "I can't believe he actually agreed."

    But his voice is far off as Arashi's and you share a common bond for an instant, in the distance the song of a phoenix flows sweetly about the still, foreign air and the dark shadow of a flying dragon passes over you. In this world you are the one that is strange and out of place and Arashi realizes that.   

    You are hesitant to move on but feel that you must. Sighing and waving farewell you instinctively follow the river.
