The river you are following begins to run through rockier territory and soon you find that you are struggling to climb over huge rocks that seem to have been just pulled out of the ground by a giant hand. Gasping for air, you pull yourself up hand over hand up an especially steep slope. Stopping to catch your breath you lose it once again as you find yourself standing on the edge of a huge cliff. The river drops away from you to a startling depth. Feeling a bit nauseated you back away and sit yourself on an outcropping of rock. You hear the roar of a waterfall in the distance, you are too busy deciding whether to go investigate it or not to notice that you are not alone.

    Two cat like creatures have appeared. One is a large male with strange fur that seems to catch and hold the light. He trots up on odd purple hooves. The other is a smaller female who stops approaching you at about three feet and opts to lay down and gaze quietly at you. The spikes along her back rattle faintly in the wind.

    The blue cat thrusts his head into your face in a demanding sort of way. You scoot back on your butt, totally surprised and mystified. Making a funny 'Mrow' sort of noise he rubs his furry face against your hand. You oblige by rubbing him between his tufted blue ears. The cat purrs happily and stamps a hoofed foot, your hand comes across something hung around the feline's neck. 

    Following the string with your fingers you find a flat bark piece strung on the string. It reads:

The creatures in your presence is are Hunter Cats, a species bred in the Ever Realm

The aggressive is called Melted Sapphire whilst the shy one is known as Marble.

    Well, that's defiantly interesting. The Hunter Cat cocks his head at you as if to ask why you had stopped scratching. Sighing you begin again. By the time Melted Sapphire has had enough your hand is numb. You wave goodbye as the creatures trot off toward the sound of the waterfall.
