Ash Ketchum a boy from Pallet oversleeps and shows up at the lab late.All the pokemon are chosen so Professor Oak gives Ash Pikachu.Trying to catch a pidgey later on he accidentaly hits a Spearow and makes it angry soon a whole flock start chasing them ash and Pikachu get caught on Misty's line and borrows her bike but doesn't get far so Pikachu then shocks the Spearows.Then they head towards the pokemon center.
#2. Pokemon Emergency!
Rushing into town,an officer jenny suspects Ash as being a pokemon thief.Relizing he isn't,she helps rush Pikachu to the pokemon center.Misty catches up to Ash and scolds him about ruining her bike.Then Team rocket appears and tries to defeat Ash but loses when Pikachu shocks them a bunch.Then Ash and Misty start to enter Viridian Forest with Ash about to catch Caterpie.
#3. Ash Catches a Pokemon
Ash throws a Pokeball and catches caterpie.So he sends Caterpie out but it disgusts Misty so she runs away and tells Ash that she will never like Bugs.So while their asleep caterpie dreams of evolving so Misty will like him.Then later the next day Ash catches a Pidgeotto with the help of Pikachu.Then Team Rocket appears and caterpie defeats them and saves the day,then at the end he evolves into Metapod.
#4 Challenge of the Samurai
Ash and Misty still lost in Viridian Forest as Ash still tries to find some more pokemon.Soon they run into a weedle and Misty gets scared and runs off and runs into a guy named Osushu who wants to battle Ash so Misty brings him to Ash.Ash is about to catch a Weedle but the guy stops him and he misses Weedle.So he battles him first sending out Pidgeotto but loses against Pinsir.So he sends out Metapod and wins but then Oshuku sends out Metapod and their battle continues til a bunch of Beedrills attack them and grab Metapod.They run into a cabin and the next day Ash goes out and gets metapod back but when he does a Beedrill hits Metapod and it evolves into Butterfree and Puts all the Beedrills to sleep and leaves Viridian Forest.
#5 Showdown in Pewter City!
Ash and Misty arrives in Pewter City and finds a guy named Flint who sells rocks.So then they take Pikachu to the pokemon center and go and get something to eat while their there Ash learns about all the Gym leaders and Misty leaves him with the bill.So ash gets his pokemon and goes to the first gym Pewter Gym.First he sends out Pikachu and he ends up losing the battle.So Ash walks and away and sees Flint who shows him about Brock and how he has to take care of his brothers and sisters.So then Flint tells Ash he knows a way for him to win against Brock so he super charges Pikachu and goes back to Brock.First it's pidgeotto against Geodude and pidgeotto loses.Then he sends out pikachu and defeats Geodude.Then Pikachu almost defeats Onix but the sprinklers come on and really weaken onix so Ash quits the match.So then while Ash is leaving Brock comes back and gives him the boulder badge.So Flint reveals himself to be Brocks Father and Brock comes along with Ash.
#6 Clefairy and The Moon Stone
The gang gets to mount moon and saves a guy named seymour from a flock of Zubats.He then tells them about all the strange lights and about the great Clefairys that came from another planet and landed on earth on the moon stone.They then see a clefairy and follow it in the cave and find Meowth and team rocket.Misty and clefairy and seymour leave the cave and Brock and Ash stay and defeat Team rocket.Meanwhile outside the cave Misty sends out Staryu and defeats Meowth. Then they all go and eat some food and Brock makes food for Butterfree and Zubat and pikachu.Then they see a clefairy again and follow it to a cave with a moon stone.Then team rocket appears and steals the moon stone.But the clefairys use their Metronome attack and defeat them.Then some of the clefairys evolve into clefable.Then the group leaves Mount Moon and see a cerulean city sign and on it they read it says Ash is a loser and Ash runs on towards Cerulean city.
#7 The Water Flowers of Cerulean City
Ash and the others enter Cerulean city with Misty not wanting to go and leaves Brock and Ash.Then Ash and Brock sees a big crowd and goes over to look at it and finds out that a big vaccum cleaner was stolen.Officer Jenny tries to suspect Ash and Brock but they show her some id so she quit suspecting them.Then Brock leaves Ash and he and Pikachu go to Cerulean Gym and see Three girls jumping off a diving board into water.Then after the show Ash finds the Girls and Challenges them,but they can't since they have no fully healed pokemon.So misty comes out and challenges Ash to a battle,Ash surprised at misty accepts the battle.He first sends out butterfree and loses against Staryu.Then sends out Pidgeotto and almost wins but team rocket comes out and interferes trying to suck up all the water and get pikachu.Then Pikachu uses thundershock and defeats team rocket and Ash gets the Cascade badge for saving seel.Then ash and the others leave cerulean city.
#8 Path to the pokemon league
An overconfident Ash runs into a trainer named Ajay who raises wild pokemon and who has built his own outside gym.Ash thinking he would win as he had to the other trainers challenges him to a battle.First he sends out pidgeotto against ajay's sandshrew and loses.Then he sends out butterfree who also loses to sandshrew.Ash gets very sad and begs Ajay for another match but he says no.Then Ajay leaves,a few minutes later Ash hears Ajay yelling at his pokemon.So Ash runs in and pushes Ajay into the pool and they have a fight,during the fight team rocket comes by and steals sandshrew(thinking it's pikachu).Then when Ajay sees that sandshrew is missing he sends all his pokemon out to find it.Then Meowth and sandshrew appear and Jessie and James show up and challenge Ajay to a battle but they lose and Ajay gets his 100th win.
Episode 9 The School of Hard Knocks
With the group lost on their way to Vermilion City, Brock decides that they should rest a while. Brock takes out his pokémon tea set and asks someone to go get some wood for a fire. Ash gets left with the job and while searching encounters a group of kids quizzing another one about pokémon. When the session is out, the fog clears away. They find out about the school called Pokémon Tech and they meet a girl named Gizelle who is at a higher level who challenges Ash. Pikachu battles Cubone and when Cubone starts playing tricks on Pikachu, it does the same and wins against Cubone. The battle impresses the students there and they realize that level or type doesn't mean everything in a battle.
Episode #10 Bulbasaur and the hidden village
With the group still lost in the forest, they encounter an Oddish in the wild. Misty tries to get it, but is stopped by a Bulbasaur which Ash wants to catch. Bulbasaur wins the match and runs off. They continue on their journey and see a mysterious bridge, they try to cross and Brock is lost in the water below. The other two climb up and get across only to get caught in another trap. They are let down by Brock who has made friends with a girl named Melanie who is taking care of sick and injured pokémon in a small cabin. They find out about the place, but Team Rocket intrudes on the party as usual. This time they come to suck up the pokémon with their vacuum system. Ash and Bulbasaur rush to save Oddish and they all get into the cabin. Team Rocket is then blown away by Pidgeotto. Melanie offers Bulbasaur to Ash after saving all the pokémon, but Bulbasaur won't go without a battle. Ash wins with Pikachu and they continue on their way.
