 Pokémon Yellow is the sequal to Red and Blue. The music, plot, characters, etc. are similar, and everything seems normal, but there are many noticable changes. First off, it is compatible with Game Boy Color, eventhough the front of the box doesn't say so. The game doesn't feature all 150 Pokémon (you still can't get Mew without the aid of a Game Genie/Shark), so you still have to trade with Red and Blue to catch 'em all. You also can't start with Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. You must begin with the cute and lovable Pikachu. During the entire game, Pikachu follows you around (you can actually see him!). He has differnet moods that you can check. He's happy if he wins alot of battles and is used alot, but gets sad when he loses or doesn't get used much. Jesse and James of Team Rocket from the television show also make appearances. Now, Pokémon can be found in different locations. You can also use the Game Boy Printer to print out your PokéDex entries and your Pokémon Box. Talk about cool. The PokéDex entries are also all new for each Pokémon. Also, the rival trainers use new strategies and Pokémon than in Red and Blue. And, if you link two yellows together, you an play Colesseum 2 with games like Pika Cup, Poké Cup, and Petite Cup. For a limited time, you can get the Pokémon Yellow Bundle Pak which includes a special Pokémon Game Boy Color! And, Nintendo had a contest to win Pokémon Yellow with the special Surfing Pikachu, a Pikachu with Water and Electric charactistics. Also, with the Surfing Pikachu, in Fuschia City, you can surf him to win prizes! Pokémon Yellow is a MUST-HAVE for any hardcore Pokémon fan. Also, since you can't get Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle at the start of the game, it allows you to capture ALL THREE in the game from other trainers. Talk about cool.
