All right...I've officially started making it! I traced the pattern pieces onto white tissue paper, cutting out size 6 body and size DD gussets. If necessary, I can always make them smaller.

I'd post pictures, but then what do I have to show that anyone would want to see? A few patterns cut out of white tissue paper. Right...that'll be popular. Ha.

I was on Kay Gnagey's website the other day, just getting ready to order my custom-made corset for $88, when, out of the blue, I thought, "why don't I just make it myself? No matter how hard the fitting is, I'm sure it will be cheaper than eighty-whatever dollars to make. Think of it as a challenge."

So...I did just that! I'm using the Laughing Moon corset pattern that I already have, and will be making view B, the Silverado gusseted corset. I had made the gored corset, view A, and it fit perfectly while I was thirteen. And it still does fit perfectly...except for the top. (I'm trying to be delicate here, even though only a selected few will be able to view my diaries, none of whom are men) So, I thought, why not make the gusseted corset in size 6, with larger gussets? And so I shall. I have high hopes for this corset. :)
