I saw her eyes looking at me..
Staring is more the word. Dark green eyes..Cold even. I hated it. I hated her. Who was she to sit there and say she knows my thoughts,my actions,my moves before i even do them. Who was she to sit here and say that I, Nick Carter, was in danger. Who was she?
"Hi, Nick my name is Catherine." she said outstretching her hand to me, reading my thoughts, Damn her.
I calmy though shook her hand,"Hi Catherine."
She held my hand a little too long for my comfort, "Listen," I started.
"No, It's ok I understand. You don't believe I can read your thoughts. You don't think there's anyone after you. You don't think there's a thing I can do to help either. But....you also know I read your thoughts just moments ago..and I'm reading them now..I'm a full C cup and im glad you like my lips." She smirked and let go of my hand and sat down at the table.
Again, Damn her.
We all sat down at the table and I watched her. Ofcourse...she knew. So she watched me back. I didn't even pay attention to the conversation. I just knew that this girl was supposed to help somehow. She was short probably a foot shorter than me, and she was really small. How could she, help me?
About a month ago, I started recieving threats. Atfirst I thought it was some Nsync fan trying to get a thrill. But no... When I found my dog dead with a note attatched I knew it was more serious. I then started hearing noises outside my doors, sounds of someone following me while i walked alone...I don't know if it was paranoia or what. I didn't like it..
We had been able to keep the fans in the dark about it, but just yesterday, we were on MTV promoting the new album and when we took a call in...it was the voice...
"Becareful Nick, I'm in New York with you. I'm in the audience Nick, can you find me?" Then a light fell. We tried to play it off but...I was shaking too much to deny anything.
"Nick...Nick....Are you ok you're shaking."
I blinked and looked at Kevin, "Yea i'm fine. Just thinking."
"Well I guess we're done here. Nick we're gonna keep Billy and Carlos close by ok?"Kevin looked at me concerned.
"But what about you Kev?"
"Our main concern is you right now. And we'll also keep Catherine with you too ok?" Kevin answered.
I sighed, "Yeah. Do I get to stay home though?"
He just looked at me, "Fine...the where am I staying?"
"You're staying with me." Catherine answered. "You haven't been paying attention."
I ran my hands through my hair...great...just great.
"Don't worry, It won't be a picnic for me either." She said.
I looked dead at her, "STOP!" and walked out.
