If you are following the MS Webring, at the bottom of the page, you have already learned a lot about Multiple Sclerosis. If not, I will try to help you find something out about it.

I have Multiple Sclerosis, and when I was diagnosed, I knew nothing about it. After much searching, I am slowly learning about this problem, the symptoms, and what can be done. I have found a wonderful chat room that has answered a lot of my questions on this. Only being diagnosed since December of 1994, I am considered a relatively new PWMS ( Person With Multiple Sclerosis).

The problem with MS, is that all of us feel so alone and feel that there if nowhere to turn to get our answers. Also, our families and friends, because most of the symptoms are hidden, feel that we are petending that we have something wrong with us. Therefore, I am also trying to teach the public about this disease. Believe me this is not something that we would pretend to have.

Another problem with Multiple Sclerosis is that not one of us are exactly the same with when the symptoms appear. There is no set way for the symptoms to appear and no one has the same symptoms. It is one of the most difficult diseases to have. Yet, unless you have MS, no one can understand what we go through. Hopefully, this site will help anyone that either has MS, or is a caregiver or a friend of someone with MS.
