some odd poem i wrote
Mood:  accident prone
Now Playing: STILL no sound card, no music for me. I'd ude my dvd player like i usually do but it's broken
Birds whisper softly as hundreds of thousands of people salute,
The soldiers going off to fight the wars,
Giving their life for the welfare of their friends, family,
And people they do not even know.
I always thought you’d be a great soldier,
Protecting our world,
As I knew I was safe from harm,
But then things changed,
The world lost one soldier,
And gained someone else.
You were different.
I’d know you so long; it hurt so much to see
I had never known you,
And I guess I never will have the chance.
If you won’t be a soldier,
So be it,
As long as you’re happy and know
what you do want to be.
I only ask one question,
Don’t forget about me.

Poems
Mood:  down
Now Playing: playing music? No sound card for my computer. My brother took mine.
A soldier salutes his colonel,
Stands at attention,
Picks up his gun,
And goes off to fight
For his country and loved ones.
I salute soldiers,
I hope they come home,
Safe and sound,
Loved ones waiting at the dock for his arrival,
Running to meet him when he comes.
Soldiers risk their lives
To keep us safe,
And we never really appreciate
How hard they try,
To keep our country shining
Under the flag of our country,
White for innocence,
Red for bravery,
Blue for justice,
And a star for each state our soldiers are protecting.
So pray for the men fighting off in another country,
Hope they come home soon,
Hope they come home safe.
My soldier returns,
Stands in the door,
And I realize I now love him more
Than ever before,
Now that I know,
We’ve been through,
So much,
I knew,
As you softly touch,
The present sitting on the counter,
You open it,
And start to cry,
It’s a picture of your soldier friend,
With you by his side,
By his side like you were,
When, fighting, he died.
