Sapphire Stream

Every monk will come to the sapphire stream sooner or later. It is the place were a monk will be able to gain grades to expand their abilities.

The Sapphire Stream

The procedure is somewhat a difficult one. If learned by yourself you will sacrifice an amount of life experience and dedicate it, to the study of a new dugon. For the beginning monk the first two dugon are easy to learn as they do not require any hubae. After the monk has learned the first and second -the white and green- dugon, the need of hubaes slows down their learning process. Some solve this by the use of dark deals with unaware hubaes. These hubaes are lured into a trap and merely been used to come closer to the requirement they need to have for the next dugon. Some others are buying slaves and train them to be monk, teach them the white and/or green dugon. After this they are send into another world, either spiritually or banished from Temuair by the sabonim. Besides that they may or may not kill or send of their hubae, the monk is forced to kill a being in the world of Temuair.

The way to start your study and murder is to say the mystic words to the mundane sabonim.:
"Sabonim, teach me the white dugon."- this is just the most neutral way of saying it.
"Sabonim, please teach me the white dugon."- this is a way if you want to show a little bit of respect to the aisling sabonim.
"Sabonim, you will teach me the white dugon."- yes even this is allowed. You as a hubae will force the sabonim to teach you a dugon.
"I am the Sabonim, I will teach me the white dugon."- finally, this one is for those who think that they do not need a sabonim.
After saying these words the monk has one day to kill a bat and return there for meditation.

Once the monk has done the kill successfully the mundane sabonim would be happy. Because of your murder you need to go do a meditation to clear your mind and focus on nothing else than the learning of a dugon. In this meditation the reason of why the being had to be killed should be revealed. The monk has to go in a very deep meditation and clear out all thoughts but the study on the dugon. When the meditation is correctly done you will get mysterious words send to you by the god who is best in meditation. Yes, it is Cail he sends you sentences were you need to concentrate on to be able to fully understand the dugon. If you fail Cail is disappointed and will Ard Cradh you, if you succeed Cail will be happy and blessed. In either way you have spend a full two days for meditating. You might want to stretch out a little before returning to the mundane sabonim -this one could be Cail in disguise- where you have to say the mystic closing words.

"Sabonim, I understand the white dugon." - this is the most common way to say it as this is directly how Cail suggest you to say it.
"Sabonim, I understand the white dugon finally." - if you failed a lot of times during your meditation this is what you might say.
"I am the Sabonim, I understand the white dugon." - again this is for those who feel that they can do all by themselves.

The meditation area

For those monks that do not understand the meditation or do not know how and where to start. The following scroll will help out those who are lost in their meditation or had to much of the wine before attempting the start. The reason does not matter to much as long as they are in a physical condition to read this scroll of secret meditations. With this scroll you have to power and knowledge to always succeed in meditation. It will surely take away from you the joy of learning and failing with meditations. You may think what is the joy in doing the learning and failing? It is that what the Moreni and Alke families have done to gather the information to write the scroll of knowledge. The families had their fun in failing and succeeding, it is all in their way of life. All of the Moreni family have left the lands to teach monks in other lands the secrets of meditation and the way of fighting. What has happened with the Alke family is not very clear, perhaps that Thannis might give you more information about them.

After a successful meditation the monk is allowed to learn new ability in the grove. Just as there are eight dugons, there are eight groves. The only difference of each grove is the ability you may learn there.

The Grove

The sabonim monk in white will be able to help the monk with crafting a dugon headband and teach you the skills, that is if the monk has satisfied him enough with what he wants. Besides that, the monk has to be able to learn it, some skills are more easy to learn than others it all depend on the status of the monk. Maybe sometime in the future a monk will come back here and praise him for all he has done. Without this sabonim, the monks would have a very hard time.
