SUMMER RAIN FOR YOU
Now Playing: SUMMER LOVE
I see your face--
As the rain splashes,
Against the window pane,
I day dream.

I see you--
Next to me,
Holding,
Touching,
Caressing,
Dreaming...

I feel your--
Strength,
Gentleness,
Compassion,
Desire,
Heartbeat...
As we join as one--the rain splashes,
Against the window pane.

IF MY HEART COULD TALK
Now Playing: LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD
If my heart could talk,
It would say that I want to leave.
Yet my mind says to stay,
Just try to believe.
That love could withstand,
The trials and tests of time.

It's been hard for me,
To share all of my heart.
Why can't others see,
That my heart's been torn apart.

If my heart could talk,
It would say slow down.
Yet my mind is keen,
To listen to my heart.

I want to stay,
Then I want to leave.
It's hard to turn away,
From that one happy dream.

I DESIRE YOU
Now Playing: ROMEO & JULIET
To meet you would delight my very inner soul,
To great depths of my heart, mind and body.
To get to know you more from your head,
Down to your toes,
Is not all that attracts me,
Yet to know all of you.

I've searched high and low,
Yet none can compare to you.
As you are unique from all the rest,
Need I say more?

The desire for you to see me,
Let alone hold me close in your arms,
Ignits a flame within me,
A passion yet to unfold.

In my heart I already feel close to you,
As I anticipate that day or night,
You take me by the hand to lead me
To your magical kingdom--your heart.

HIS PRICELESS GIFT
Now Playing: WHAT IS LOVE
To Those Who Witness And Serve Him

God has freely given us love,
To naught bind to ourselves,
Yet to share with each other,
As we dwell within His Priceless Gift.

He gave us His only begotten Son,
To give each of us eternal life.
The love we freely give must be unselfish,
With no strings attached.

When we show love to each other,
There will always be more to give,
Since God's love is always there.
The love we freely give,
Must first dwell within each of us.
If love is not there,
Then we have nothing to give at all.

Our love should be unconditional,
As God's love is for us.
Remember to abide in Faith, Hope and Love,
As you will discover that Love is the greatest of all three.

WE NEVER SAY GOODBYE
Now Playing: AGAINST ALL ODDS
FOR WE ARE UNITED AND NEVER ALONE!!

No one is ever prepared to face their fears alone,
No one ever knows when the time has come,
To suddenly say goodbye,
To those we truly love.

We'll try to hold our heads up high,
As we live each day without them.
It's hard to hold back the tears,
As we now seem to fear the unknown.

We won't see them walking through the door,
Don't know how we can't lose control.
Of not seeing their smiling faces again,
It's a little hard these days to ease the pain.

We'll say our prayers to keep us strong,
We'll make it through every day and night.
'Cause we know that their love is with us still,
As we close our eyes and see them there.

No one is ever prepared to face their fears alone,
No one ever knows when the time has come,
To suddenly say goodbye, yet we never say goodbye,
To those we truly love and those we never knew.

THE LIGHT OF TOMORROW
Now Playing: XFILES
I've stumbled--
And fell.
Cried out in pain--
And God came to me.

He gave me the strength--
To be strong-willed.
The wisdom and knowledge--
To help myself.

The emotion of caring--
To be able to love.
The courage--
To face thine enemies.

He gave me my body--
To do all these things and thensome.
Yet He has given me "The Light of Tomorrow"
To prosper, grow and be me.

SWEET RELEASE
Now Playing: HEARTBREAKER
Vagabonds, trolling the midsts,
As my mind wonders the hills,
Grasping the past lives,
I once knew, the lovers, the romance,
Are all forgotten now.

Sweet Release from hell's fire of rage,
Discontented and restless souls now sleep,
Mind over the heart I now do say,
As my heart has strenghtened,
The wounds are slow to heal.

My heart still has a desire,
Yet no man can enter without the key,
That is kept safe from the wrath of men,
Who have deceived, beaten, ravaged,
My passionate soul that desired true love.

Yet no man shall enter the now pure soul,
Nor penatrate my passion locked deep within,
Lest he be a man so pure and true,
As to provide sincere tenderness,
With strong and gentle hands.

SLICING OF WORDS
Now Playing: CUTS LIKE A KNIFE
Cold as ice,
Bitter sweet,
Sometimes you're nice,
Sometimes you're vile.

Your tongue,
Is that of a sword,
It cuts deep,
Into my caring heart.

It isn't what you say,
It's how you mimic,
Such deceitful words,
Or words spoken untrue.

What shall I believe,
In your spoken words,
When your actions,
Clearly speak otherwise.

ONCE FAMILAR PLACES
Now Playing: GONNA FLY NOW
In Memory of My Grandmother, Marguerite, My Other Best Friend

Once familiar places,
Seem now to be unfamiliar.
Many years had passed,
Since I traveled back west.

Really wasn't the right time,
When is the right time I say.
Yet there is a time for everything,
Aye' so it seems as the clock ticks.

My once warm grandmother was cold,
As she lay in a serence peacefulness.
She was still beautiful I could see,
Through tears as they fell down my face.

She rests in beauty and grace,
Aye' what a divine eternal saint.
Natural was her pretty smile,
That melted my grandfather's heart.

Now the two will be back together,
Not just in dreams or memories.
He left before her as she waited in one familiar place,
To go into another eternal place where happiness is rejoiced.

NEVER BEFORE YOU
Now Playing: SUMMER LOVE
For Those Who Know The Real Meaning of Love

The night we met,
I saw into your soul.
A soul that I knew,
Belonged with mine.

As the lightening grazed the dark sky,
The magnitude of His glorious touch,
Told me that you were the one,
That would enlighten my dreary soul.

Never before you,
Had I longed for that special touch,
That only you convey with pure trust,
Of a love that I have hoped for all these years.

I thought that I was once loved,
Yet those memories are no more,
Since you have become more a part of me,
As each day comes and goes.

So as this day forward,
I want and need to say,
How much you truly mean to me,
As you will during all these years to come.
