Who is Melia?

 I am sure you are asking?

I am a Poet Writer and Mommy. I live in the Panhandle of Oklahoma with my husband James Benjamin, Jr., PhD and my two wonderful children (a son 8, and a daughter 2). I also have 6 cats and 2 dogs all of which think they own the house.

I am a staff copy editor of The World Around Us. I take this job very seriously as I believe reading is the main source of education and the more a child reads the better they are able to use their imaginations which does not occur while watching TV and most toys these days take the imagination away from the kids.

I publish most of my poetry and other writings online at Melia's Writing.com Portfolio. I have many genre's covered in my portfolio and thus you can find almost anything that interests you within my folders on the site.
