It's, like, totally Christmas Day!
We always start the holiday off with a huge breakfast of waffles. Super yum. First picture, L-R: Sarah, Ally, Dad, Me, Mom. Second picture: same, except Ziga is where I formerly was.
Our dog Penny is very ladylike. She eats off of a fork. No joke. Z fed her very sweetly.
My vote for Best Gift goes to the one where my sister gave my mother our dog, Penny. My mother nearly peed her pants because she thought it was a new puppy, which for months Sarah has said she will purchase for my mother, even though she really doesn't want another dog. We all laughed so hard when she opened the box. She made the "mad eyes" at the dog and the result was this priceless picture.
We surprised my mom with some amazing Romanian antiques, including this sideboard. In this picture, my cat Tyler shows who really owns this gift.

Even though it meant that I had to take the picture twice, I still had absolute love for the face Ally sabotaged my first picture with. The rest of the family may have grumbled, but it's rare that the true spirit of our Christmas dinner comes across on film.
