Paris...Oh, Paris

We drove for something like sixteen hours to get to Paris from Krauschwitz. It was a long drive but I had fun. The first five pictures I took were from the car as we drove around looking for our hotel. We spent a grand total of three days in Paris and I don’t think that was enough to do the city justice. I really want to go back, but if I do, I’ll have to take someone I really care about with me. Paris is truly the most romantic place I’ve ever been. Even more romantic than on a blanket next to a babbling brook as the clouds raced over our heads.

OK, so I'm taking pictures from a moving car. Got a problem?

But check out the view from here.

Gold looks cool in the sunlight.

I like this building.

Like this one too.

There are fountains all over the place.

Shhhh. We're trying to decide what we're going to eat.

Eating at an Italian restaurant in Paris. Who would've thought.

Another building that I liked.

There is construction happening all over the place.

One of the many arcs throughout the city.

A guy I work with requested pictures of the pubilc toilets, so here they are.

You have to pay to use the public toilets.

Why can't buildings where I'm from look like this?

Care now, Can't move cause this guy is drawing me. Took him 45 minutes to finish.

Kristin is letting this guy draw her. He took a hour and a half.

He was kind enough to sign it. He was cool, I liked him.

They are all very talented here at the Centre Pompidou.

Kristin is still sitting there. She has a lot of patience.

This guy was really getting into his roll and kept making people scream, it was hilarious.

Believe it or not, but this is a fountain.

I like the way this cathedral looks.

Anyone up for a ride on this old carousel.

The cathedral again.

Look! We found another fountain!.

It is amazing how much the newer buildings make the old ones just stand out.

Check out this view.

Now check out this one.

Another eye-dazzeling view.

More buildings with Willie, Anne, and Yance. Kristin's friends and boyfriend.

A lot of glass huh?

These are diferent views of that cathedral.

If you want, you can piece them together and see it big.

You don't have to puzzle it together but it might be fun.

Come on, just copy them and piece them together.

It is a neat cathedral.

How can you say no to a face like this?

Don't worry, I'm almost done (with the cathedral).

STOP! This is not a part of that cathedral.

The art is just beautiful.

We are now in the courtyard abouve the Lovre.

Statues on buildings. Can't top that.

Pavillon Sully. Which is the walkway to the Lovre.

Same walkway.

Left part of the courtyard.

And here is the right.

I got a picture of Yance taking a picture. Hehehehe.

I got a picture with Peter in it. Still above the Lovre.

I told you it was big.

Not the Arc De Triomphe, but cool anyway..

Statues. Gotta love 'em.

The Lovre from a distance.

Yes, another building.

Place de la Concorde. Looks heavy.

Statues near the Place de la Concorde.

Statues near the Place de la Concorde.

That is just cool, what else can I say?

Here is a pic of the whole group. From front to back: Peter, Kristin, Yance, Willie is hidding, Anne, York and Marita.

The sign for the boat tour we took of Paris.

Well, I could see it just fine!

Whatever, I thought it was pretty.

It is supposed to be a picture of Notre Dame.

They were dancing, but you can't see that can you?.

OK,OK. So it was a little dark.

Me out front of the Tour Eiffel. (Eiffel tower)

It sounds cool when you read it aloud.

Why can't I look like that? Oh yeah, I'm not a statue.

A picture of Hotel des Invalides from the Tour Eiffel.

A picture of the Grand Palais from the top of the Tour Eiffel.

Myself, Peter, and Willie on the Tour Eiffel.

Myself, Marita, Peter, and Willie on the Tour Eiffel.

York, Anne, and Peter at the very top of the Tour Eiffel. These three and myself are the only ones that went to the very top.

Myself, Anne, and Peter at the top of the Tour Eiffel.

The Arc de Triomphe from the top of the Tour Eiffel.

A picture of the Louvrefrom the top of the Tour Eiffel.

A picture of the Hotel des Invalides from the top of the Tour Eiffel.

I like statues.

Behold! The Arc de Triomphe!.

Me out front of the Arc de Triomphe.

I get a kick out of all these fountains.

I shouldn't take pictures of statues when they are lighted from the back, but I thought it was cool.

Gateway to the Hotel des Invalides.

The whole family crossing the street. There is York, Kristin, Marita and Peter.

French architecture. Isn't it pretty?

I like that fountain. I just wish I could get closer.

I would not mind having that driveway.

The carving is really quite breathtaking.

Trying to get a little closer.

I'm goofing off again, leave me alone.

And towering abouve him was the cathedral of Notre Dame.

Check out that spire. Looks wicked.

That stained glass window is supposed to tell the whole store of the Bible or something.

Wow, that's tall.
