Twas the sweetest
So dance with me
The world
For apart

of beginnings
a welcome smile
shyly whispered hellos
stepping gracefully
onto the floor
embarking upon
our poetic journey.
forever and beyond
two hearts
melting into one.
and all it entails
vanishes
in our wake
forgotten
if only
for the duration
of this dance
together.
we are incomplete
