At present, my FIL, Mr.George Maria Das and my MIL Mrs. Reeta Vijaya George are leading a retired life in Nagercoil after spending around two decades in Sharjah, UAE. Mummy is basically from Colachel (she has an interesting lineage and I would update the family details soon with a bit of history) and Daddy is hailing from a coastal village called Manakkara. Both their families are settled in Nagercoil for decades now.

After spending busy years in the Middle East,they are enjoying the serenity and peace of retired life, though it took a while for them to get used to the slow pace of life. Daddy is an Engineer by Profession and Mummy is a teacher.

Currently, Daddy spends most of the time taking care of the two dogs at home whereas Mummy sticks to the television and the phone to stay in touch with the world. Interests of the children are of prime importance to them. Mummy is a good cook and a great host, very adept at throwing parties at the shortest notice. She is active beyond her age and is a hit at social gatherings. Daddy is a pious and down to earth person. As parents, they had given enough space and freedom to the children, which they remember with much gratitude. Forward thinking, they are always open to new ideas and thoughts. Kind and helpful, they would welcome anyone to their house irrespective of their status and position.

I thank God for making me a part of this family and pray for their health and long life.
