Fright

It was another endless night

As I woke up filled with fright

My body is covered with night sweats

For my soul cannot pay all it's debts

I wish I could just cry and weep

And all I want is some sleep

But my mind is filled with nightmares past

And I fear that these memories are to last

It was another endless night

And through the window came sunlight

The dawn has come, the day is new

I watch the sky as it turns blue

My fears are gone, I am at rest

I feel now that I'm at my best

I will be fine until the night

And then I will be filled with fright
