Drawn from Doug and the Slugs' debut album Cognac And Bologna (1980), "Too Bad" was the band's most successful single, reaching #20 on the RPM Top 100. The song also appears on the 1993 greatest hits compilation Slugcology 101: A Decade Of Doug and the Slugs. Tabbed here is the Intro.

CM DECEMBER 1980 - APRIL WINE

I'm starting another new feature on the blog today, something I've been thinking of doing for quite awhile. I have a large collection of back issues of Canadian Musician magazine. They have some great covers of various Canadian artists/bands, including many of those whose songs I've tabbed for this website. Since a lot of people come to this site for the Canadian content, I thought maybe I'd start to scan and post some of those covers. I subscribed to CM in the 1980's, so I think all of the covers will be from that time. To save any of the covers to your own files, just click through to the full size image, then right click, and 'save as'. A Top 10 hit in Canada, "April Fool" came from Chalk Circle's 1986 debut EP The Great Lake. Pictured to the left is the original EP. To the right is the CD re-issue, which included bonus tracks to make it a full-length album. The tab is of the single version of the song.
