THE DOOBIE BROTHERS
Topic: Riff-In-A-Jiff

Today, a little Doobie Bro rock'n'roll. The song is from the band's second album Toulouse Street (1972), and this one rocks out pretty good. Since the guitar part for the Intro is fairly short, I've included the 1st Verse, as well.

For the verse, I've only put in very basic chords. I like to be as accurate as possible, but I ended up spending a lot of time second guessing the chords, the exact variations being played. (On the record, it doesn't sound like a simple D Major in the verse, in the live version below it does). So eventually I decided, it's a riff section anyhow, and I've got the riff, so I won't worry much about the chords, and I just put in the basic changes. Close enough for rock & roll. Wink

Gotta love that E7#9 and F9 chords part. It makes the whole thing sound so cool. Cool
