James Madison University is a public university in the great state of Virginia. The university has a very good academic program and an even better social scene.  JMU not only offers great academic and social opportunities, but also provides its students with a great sense of school spirit and outstanding sports teams.  The James MadisonDukes' football team won the division 1AA National Championship in 2004 and continues to excel with three consecutive winning seasons. All in all, James Madison is clearly the best university in Virginia, and maybe even the country.
