hey everyone i know it's been a little while since my last entry but i have been pretty busy. i managed to find a job and now i'm continuing the nearly impossible search to find a place to live...i checked out another hostel last week that turned out too pretty much suck so i'm back at the fist one i was at.i haven't yet grown tired of the hostel but i am tired of not being able to make my one food, at least at work i can now eat pretty good. last week i went to the fair du rhone, i love that you can drink anywhere here (and cheap too 2.70? for a six pack of stella) so naturally we brought a 12 pack each to the fair and they had some pretty cool rides but the fun house after we were petty drunk proved to be the most fun. last week i also went to the salvador dali museum and the picasso museum (sober) they were both really interesting. i should be able to upload my pictures with in the next couple of weeks once these girls i met from halifax come back to paris they said i can have their outlet adapter which is pretty cool cause it saves me like 30?. Paris is still a blast but i really wish i had my bike, so if you know of anyone coming to france let me know because they can take it with them free on the plane and i'll meet them at the airport so they won't have to lug it around anywere. other then that life is pretty much the same here as it is there i suppose maybe a little frenchier but all is well!

i was talking to my toes on saturday and they`re pretty pissed off at how i`ve been walking all over them lately so i decided to give the little guys a break and rent a bike. i went down to a local bike shop where they sey me up with a sweet 3 speed girls bike complete with basket and bell. i spent the whole day riding around to all the diferent places you would find on post cards of paris. i went to the eifel tower, the louvre, this glass pyramide, l`arc de triomph, notre dame and a couple other places it was all pretty cool i guess but one day of doing all the tourist bullshit is more then enough, however i will be going back to the louvre because it`s free on the first of the month. the first two days i was here it was beutiful but today and yesterday it`s been a bit chilly. right now i`m at the SWAP office and i just finished typing up a french resume. once i find a job then i`ll start to look for an apartment. oh yeah did you notice thqt i finally figured out these french keyboads i`m not retarded but it was hard some keys have three characters on them figure that one out. well smell ya later

allo les canadiens i know ive only been here a day but i think i am really gonna like paris. believe it or not so far i have found parisienne people to be very polite and helpful. last night i met this guy named Ties from holland who is sorta doing the same thing as me, then i met this italian couple that are staying at the same hostel as myself and we went out for a couple drinks....oh and in case you where wondering yes the beer sucks, i think ill have too stick to stella or hieneken. I thought the beer was bad but it turns out the coffee is even worse, today im going to rent a bike and do some touring then this evening im meeting Ties and this girl julia from germany (who i met in the shower this morning, i love hostel life) and we are going to have an authentic parisiene picnic with wine, cheese and a bagette. you see people everywhere walking down the street eating bagette, so i tried it yesterday and for only half a euro had the best bagette of my life, iwas very impressed. oh and i hate these french keyboards i cant find the apostraphe.
what up all i finally have got my hostel booked! i'm staying at L'Auberge International des Jeunes on La rue Trousseau. You can look it up by clicking on the map link on the main page. smell ya later!
