Hello Everyone,
Getting to see all of you is going to be awesome.
It sure doesn't seem like 30 years ago we were walking down the aisle in our cap and gown, but it has been. I'm sure we are all showing a little wear and tear. Is that what they call "age"?
From the few of you that I have seen, that "age" thing really is just a number, you all look great.
Most of all though, you all still seem to have alot of fun left and I think our reunion is going to be a blast. Thanks to all who have made this happen!!

I have been married to the love of my life for the last 28 years, Artie McMullen, Ouachita Graduate of 1973.
Together we have 2 wonderful and beautiful children, Amanda, 26 years old and Whit, 18 years old. Amanda was a Ouachita Graduate in 1997 and was a cheerleader for 4 years, she graduated from ULM in 2002 and she is a Marketing Executive at Vantage Health Plan. Whit was a Ouachita Graduate this year, 2006 and he played Ouachita Lion Baseball for 4 years. Whit is a Freshman at ULM, but his real ambition is to be a fireman like his Dad.
My husband Artie is a Deputy Fire Chief with the Ouachita Parish Fire Department, and for myself, I am the Business Manager for Carlton Russ Greer, M.D., Neurosurgeon and have been working with Dr. Greer in the world of Neurosurgery for the last 26 years.
Some of our favorite pastimes are spent cooking/grilling, playing horseshoes, traveling, dancing and most of all spending quality time with our family and friends.
We are not grandparents yet, but look forward to that wonderful event, adding another chapter and generation to our amazing and happy life.

Hi Folks,
We would like to provide everyone with a "binder" updating us on where we're at, what we do, how's the family etc...you get the idea...we did this at our 10 year (I actually have mine)...
I have not received any info yet...I offered to organize this, but the time frame as well as the input will dictate whether the project materializes...

FOOTBALL GAME UPDATE!
Hey everyone!
Thanks for the GREAT response on the football game. Tailgate party is in full swing and things are rocking along! I am getting more and more emails everyday about coming to the game, but it is not too late to get in on it! Please rememebr to EMAIL ME DIRECTLY if possible about getting your ticket. (Sure saves me a lot of time rather than running through all the posts and threads)
I am having a banner printed up to help eliminate problems with finding everyone once you get there.
If you can think of anything else that would make the football event easier or more enjoyable, please let me know and I will try to add it...

Everyone keeps asking me if so and so is coming, or if we have heard from What's His Name? We have been real coy in saying what names have responded and actually sent their money in. Well, the updated version of that answer is " you won't believe who all we have heard from and who has sent their $40 in"!! Put it like this, the list is getting fairly long, and longer everytime the mail runs.. There is also a huge turnout signed up for the golf outing, so if you want to play, please hurry and call or email Mike Duncan to make arrangements. To give a hint as to how many that have signed up for the party, we could do a red 1, a red 2, a white 1, a white 2, and on in to the pink ones. Can anyone figure that out?? What about you Tannehill, any guesses from Albooty??

I know everyone has taken time to fill out and enter their profile on the blog. So, can someone tell us how we can view them. It will be fun to see what everyone has been doing for the past 30 years.
Also, is there a list of who all is coming (or has been contacted)that can be posted and kept current? This would help for those of us trying to locate other classmates by letting us know who has been found already. I hear we will have people coming in from half way around the world. Great job by the organizing ad hoc committee! You guys deserve an all-inclusive weekend camping trip to fabulous Moon Lake.
