Hotel Arrangements

2 Things:
1. For those of you staying in a hotel during the reunion, which one are you staying at? I saw the list of recommended hotels someone (Scott?) posted, and thought it would be great to try to stay at the same one as most of the other out-of-towners. How about posting a response to let us know.
2. My Bio: I live back in Richmond, KY (where my parents and 2 sisters live), have retired from the Army (after 23 years - rank, Lieutenant Colonel) and am re-re-married (Wife, Rosemary for 12 years)with 2 kids (Son, Stevie just graduated from high school; Daughter, Katie is a Junior in high school and lives with her mother in Utah), teach middle school at a public school, coach middle school and high school football at a private Christian school, and am active in my church.
That's all!
See ya'll soon! Steve

Tim and I were talking and we knew that Patience had posted that attire at the party was to be casual. But we thought that we would be more specific. We are wearing shorts, casual shirt and probably sandals. So please feel free to be CASUAL, we will be..The same to the football game..

Hi y'all. I just got off the phone with Patience - wonderful to talk to her after all these years. If I can line up a busy upcoming schedule I hope to be able to attend. It has been such a long time and it will be wonderful to see everyone again and catch up with all the news. I've read through the other postings and recognize some of the names and checked out the picture. Wow - wouldn't recognize some of you on the street. But the same for me. Guess we have all changed for the better.

Topic: websites
I know this will seem very elementry to most people, but we have a classmate who can not seem to figure out how to read the website....After a very lengthy cell phone conversation with him last night, and might I add, completely losing my patience, I promised him that I would type out how for him to read the site.. I also gave him my word that I would not under any circumstances let anyone know who he was. He was justifiably concerned with embarassment to his ego, which I can certainly understand...
Ok, here is the basics, at the bottom of each post, there is a section that mentions comments, if it has a zero beside it, that means that there are no comments to this post. If it has a number beside it, that means that there is that many comments concerning this post..At the end of each page, keep clicking on older to go all the way back to the beginning, where the first meeting and picture is.
Now then, I hope this helps you, and you can quit asking me how to do it.. Also Tannehill, I guess you noticed that I never mentioned who the "complete idiot" is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone,
Getting to see all of you is going to be awesome.
It sure doesn't seem like 30 years ago we were walking down the aisle in our cap and gown, but it has been. I'm sure we are all showing a little wear and tear. Is that what they call "age"?
From the few of you that I have seen, that "age" thing really is just a number, you all look great.
Most of all though, you all still seem to have alot of fun left and I think our reunion is going to be a blast. Thanks to all who have made this happen!!
Bio below, Thanks, Mike
I have been married to the love of my life for the last 28 years, Artie McMullen, Ouachita Graduate of 1973.
Together we have 2 wonderful and beautiful children, Amanda, 26 years old and Whit, 18 years old. Amanda was a Ouachita Graduate in 1997 and was a cheerleader for 4 years, she graduated from ULM in 2002 and she is a Marketing Executive at Vantage Health Plan. Whit was a Ouachita Graduate this year, 2006 and he played Ouachita Lion Baseball for 4 years. Whit is a Freshman at ULM, but his real ambition is to be a fireman like his Dad.
My husband Artie is a Deputy Fire Chief with the Ouachita Parish Fire Department, and for myself, I am the Business Manager for Carlton Russ Greer, M.D., Neurosurgeon and have been working with Dr. Greer in the world of Neurosurgery for the last 26 years.
Some of our favorite pastimes are spent cooking/grilling, playing horseshoes, traveling, dancing and most of all spending quality time with our family and friends.
We are not grandparents yet, but look forward to that wonderful event, adding another chapter and generation to our amazing and happy life.

Thanks for organizing a gathering for our 30th reunion. I haven't been back to Monroe in 20 years. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces . . .
Classmate Information / update
Hi Folks,
We would like to provide everyone with a "binder" updating us on where we're at, what we do, how's the family etc...you get the idea...we did this at our 10 year (I actually have mine)...
I have not received any info yet...I offered to organize this, but the time frame as well as the input will dictate whether the project materializes...
Thanks in advance,
Mike Duncan

Patience,
It was great to hear from you last night. I will find out in the next few days whether or not we will be able to come and I'll let you know. I'm going to be disappointed if things don't work out but if not you all have a great time which I'm sure you will. Keep all those guys in line.
