I'd really hoped we'd get together and was disappointed when I called Sharon and she told me she hadn't heard about any efforts to do so! Tim called a few weeks later and I was really excited to hear the plans in the works! I'm coaching high school football at a Christian school, and we play away the night of the 22nd. However, I'll do my best to see if I can get away either early Saturday morning (there are no flights Friday evening) or maybe even leave on Friday (if my head coach will allow it) so that I can make the game, golf outing, and dinner. I hope to bring my wife! I know that, given the motley crew planning this, and with Patience helping (thank God!), it should be a blast!
By the way, where's this picture everyone keeps mentioning?

As much as I am "fond" of Coach Cornbread, I mean Coach Poindexter, and yes, I do remember "that comment" that he made. But, that's not the one that I remember the most. The one I remember was during one of his daily drills of trying to teach you your left from your right. After about a week of you constantly proving that you couldn't remember which one was which, he hollered out "Tannehill, son, are you a complete idiot", and you answered back " I don't know".
