PGSM - Act Twenty-Six
Mamoru-Tuxedo Kamen wakes up to see Usagi in a white dress crying over him. He realizes that she is the princess from his dream.
Sailor Venus confirms it, and Jupiter and Mars follow her lead, as they all kneel before one very confused Usagi in one very poof-y white dress.
Luna remembers things now. Long ago, the Earth was just one country and the Moon was one country as well, with a palace enclosed in a bubble.
The Prince and the Princess, who look suspiciously like Mamoru and Usagi, only wearing white, fell in love.
As the two stand on a balcony, looking up at the Moon, it transitions into the theme song
The room that they were in transforms to all white, with a lot of backlighting.
Artemis tells Usagi that they woke the Sailor Moon part of her before the princess part because she needed some training first.
Venus was acting as a decoy, only pretending to be the Moon Princess until Usagi fully awoke.
But Usagi isn't fully awakened. The sight of her friends bowing before her freaks her out a bit, and she tells them that she's not a princess.
She may have woken the power of Princess Serenity, but Usagi still doesn't remember her past life at all.
Mars and Jupiter only have half-rememberings of the past.
Venus and Artemis are rather disappointed.
Artemis tells Luna that she needs to help Usagi remember, and then Venus gets up to leave.
Mars tries to stop her, but Venus says that as the leader of the senshi, she has to do things her own way.
Mars was just the second-in-command.
Artemis says that he will send the girls presents and then he and Venus leave through the far-too-much-backlighting.
Usagi interrupts the serious moment by asking how she de-transforms out of her fluffy white dress.
It only seems to take her thinking about it though, as she shifts back to her normal clothes.
Down in the Dark Kingdom, with the appearance of the Mystical Silver Crystal, Metallica is pulsing with energy.
Jadiete and Beryl discuss how the MSC must have been in the Princess's body this whole time.
So Nephrite had just been on a series of wild goose chases.
Beryl sends Jadiete out - as he's the only one she can trust.
Kunzite teases Nephrite a bit more. He tells him that the real princess is Sailor Moon. Nephrite is rightly shocked that the Moon Princess is Sailor Moon. (He never saw that one coming)
His teasing leads to further awakening Nephrite's desire to steal the MSC (and knock Kunzite down a few pegs)
A rather smug Kunzite walks away until he hears Zoisite playing the piano. His music gives Kunzite a headache as it makes him remember a time long past...
When the other three shitennou were buried in fallen rubble, leaving Kunzite the only one alive.
Zoisite ponders how Mamoru nearly died. Clearly this is because he was with the moon princess.
There can be no other explanation.
Lying in the hospital, Mamoru remembers what happened. That Usagi is the girl he has been looking for.
Right on cue, Zoisite appears in the hospital room to provide plot exposition. True, Usagi is the princess that Mamoru remembers from his past life, but she is also dangerous.
Before Zoisite can elaborate, he hears footsteps and vanishes.
It's Hina - with flowers.
Luna tells more about the past. The Earth Prince and Moon Princess fell in love, and ran through fields together, but this cause explosions and assorted other bad things, and ultimately led to a war between the Moon and the Earth.
Then the Earth was covered in a blue light that turned red, and the Prince and Princess died.
This is a bit much for Usagi to take in. Even though in Episode Ten they all learned they were really from the Moon Kingdom.
They all agree that they have faint memories of the Moon - or at least it sounds right...
Rei says that it's not a coincidence that they all met. It probably has something to do with the fact that they are all senshi.
Then they start wondering if Ami has some memories too now.
Darkury looks out over the city - as if she heard them talking about her.
Rei says that she's surprised that Usagi is the princess. Usagi pouts and pokes her.
Back in the hospital, Hina is arranging flowers and talking to Mamoru about the up coming trip. Everything is arranged - she gives him his plane ticket
Luna continues to provide plot exposition - Venus was telling Sailor Moon to stay away from Tuxedo Kamen because in the past, their love destroyed the Earth.
So until they can figure out what really happened, Usagi and Tux need to stay apart.
Usagi agrees. Remembering the way Mamoru was with Hina (in a faded out flash back scene) makes her think that it will be possible to stay apart.
When the girls leave Crown, they see a very depressed Motoki (Still wearing Makoto's scarf). He's upset because he upset Hina in the previous episode, and now she's going to London.
So her final memories of Motoki will be him acting like an idiot.
Usagi and Makoto know that when Hina goes to London, Mamoru is going with her.
In the hospital, Hina has run out of things to say to Mamoru and an awkward silence follows for a few minutes before she decides to go home.
Usagi walks home, putting on a cheerful face. When her mom tells her to wash up for dinner, Usagi tells her not to boss her around. Usagi is a princess after all. Her mom, ever a good sport, plays along.
Shingo comments that if Usagi is a princess, there is no way her kingdom is on Earth. This is very perceptive of him.
In the darkened room in Crown, three star-shaped things appear. One Red, one Green, and one Blue...
In the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite summons a Youma to attack the Princess - now that he knows who she really is.
The next day, when Makoto arrives at Crown, she sees Takai (last seen in Act Seven I think...)
Takai hiccups and says that Motoki has gone to see Mamoru and Hina off at the airport.
Makoto gasps, flashes her pass and hurries downstairs, leaving Takai to eat lemons.
Downstairs, Usagi is examining the stars and wondering where they came from. When Makoto comes downstairs, Usagi demonstrates what they are - tambourines.
Makoto drags Usagi outside and uses the green tambourine to flag down a taxi. (Ah so that's what it's for)
Makoto has decided that Usagi needs to see Mamoru off - because she might never see him again.
The two girls give the driver rather confusing directions about where to go, but they do head towards the airport
At the airport, Mamoru asks Hina where her things are, as all that she has is her purse.
She - rather dramatically - tears her ticket in half. She knows that Mamoru doesn't really love her, and she has realized that she was being selfish.
So, she's going to let him go. She's decided not to go to London - but Mamoru can still go. Her father will still pay for it.
Mamoru tries to tell her that if she's not going to go, he doesn't want to either.
But she tells him to go. She doesn't want him to stay with her anymore. Maybe they will meet again some day, but it won't be for a long time.
With that, she leaves.
He calls after her that he really does care for her. He just... doesn't love her.
Back to Usagi and Makoto - stuck in traffic.
Then they discover what's causing the traffic jam - a youma. After paying the taxi driver, Usagi and Makoto get out of the car, in the middle of the street, and hurry off.
Motoki hurries towards Mamoru in the airport, glad that he hasn't missed him. He's brought flowers for Hina.
Mamoru says that Hina has gone home. She's decided not to go, and she's decided not to marry Mamoru.
Motoki blames himself, but Mamoru assures him that it isn't.
The youma that Nephrite created is wrecking havoc in the same generic white building that the youmas always seem to wreck havoc in.
Usagi and Makoto Make Up in split screen and then do their intros and the senshi and the youma pose back and forth at each other for a few minutes
Meanwhile, Mamoru still hasn't finished his sentence. He remembers what Zoisite said about being connected with Usagi since a past life. And he decides that he is going to go to London, to further his search for who he is.
After running around the youma for a bit, Jupiter tells Moon to leave - she might still make it to the airport in time to say good bye.
Moon is undecided until she hears someone call her name.
It's Nephrite. After making a threatening speech, he attacks her, grabbing her around the throat.
Jupiter is trying to get away from the youma to help Moon, when the tambourine that she is still carrying starts to glow. She remembers what Artemis said before, about sending them presents.
She shakes it and a blast of green light hits Nephrite in the shoulder, blasting him off Moon.
Once again Jupiter tells her to go, but Moon says that she can't.
Fortunately, Nephrite just stays on the ground for the few minutes that Sailor Moon stands there indecisively.
Mamoru says farewell to Motoki and then starts to tell him to give a message to Usagi, but he changes his mind.
During this scene, Nephrite has gotten up and is now blasting light at Moon. If he can defeat her, he'll be back in Beryl's good graces.
Jupiter takes a flying leap and lands between Nephrite and Moon.
Sailor Moon pulls out her wand and Sailor Jupiter waves her tambourine. Moon Twilight Flash and Jupiter Thunderbolt blow up the youma and Nephrite flees the scene.
They hear the sound of an airplane leaving, and Sailor Moon says that they should just go home.
Mamoru is on his way to London.
As she walks home, Usagi sings C'est la vie to herself softly as she watches a plane fly off.
Meanwhile, Darkury turns around to see a girl dressed in a yellow and purple senshi outfit, with cat ears and a tail.
