The third album in two years, Dressed To Kill was a complete 180 degree turn from the symbolic cover of Hotter Than Hell. Dressed To Kill featured all four members in their trademark face paint but this time they look very distinguished in their suits and ties. The four songs from this album that truly stand out are Rock Bottom, C’Mon And Love Me, She and Rock And Roll All Nite. The melodic strings at the very of Rock Bottom is similar to Black Diamond and that it then quickly changes into a classic rocker. This album followed the same trend as the previous two, sell poorly and be criticized by the so called experts. KISS realized at this point that their strength was their live show and sound. They realized they needed to capitalize on it.
