=================

The follow up album to their self titled debut, Hotter Than Hell did present a different sound from the band. The album was more raw and gritty in it’s sound. The cover for this album was full of Japanese symbolism and was the first KISS cover to tie the two together. Highlights of this album are Parasite, Hotter Than Hell, Let Me Go Rock ‘N’ Roll and Goin’ Blind. The sleeper tracks on this album are All The Way and Comin’ Home. Both are under rated KISS songs that come off very well. Ace Frehley’s distinct guitar work is recognizable on every track and really adds punch to each song. This album was not received by the record buying public and was suffering from the same poor sales as it’s predecessor. 7/10
