With KIDTRACTS workbooks, students are given the opportunity to integrate subjects they study with thinking skills programs that stress brainstorming, fluency, flexibility, originality and especially Bloom’s Taxonomy and multiple intelligences theory.
KIDTRACTS provides a full range of activities for grades 4-8+. They can be used as independent study projects, incentive reward for finishing work early, task cards, starting points for research projects, or part of home schooling
KIDTRACTS focuses on Bloom’s six levels of high order thinking:
Knowledge – the ability to know
Comprehension – the ability to understand
Application – the ability to apply knowledge to new situations
Analysis - the ability to break down into parts
Synthesis – the ability to create, design, invent
Evaluation – the ability to judge
The workbooks develop students’ abilities to engage in self-initiated research. A student may work alone, with another student, or with a group. Assessment sheets are included so that they play an active role in their learning experiences.

THE LION AND THE MOUSE -
Dr. Santano has developed exciting activities at each level of Bloom’s Taxonomy of Higher Thinking Skills with in the framework of Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences. Students will be captivated by the numerous and varied activities.
HOLIDAYS -
The fun time of holidays is multiplied when students tackle the higher order thinking skills created in this activity book. Each holiday has copious suggestions that will appeal to upper level elementary students.
A TO Z - offers students factual information and vocabulary in a delightful manner. A suggested outline with resources is provided for the students. Activities at each level of Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Skills are offered for every topic. Students will be inspired to write.
THE CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS -
The history of the United States comes alive with a puppet play presented in Dr. Santano’s newest addition to her Kidtract series. The meaning of the Constitution is clearly developed using the Levels of Benjamin Bloom’s Higher Order Thinking Skills.
EVERYDAY PEOPLE - a wonderful “Do Now” writing activity for the commencement of the new school year. The stories of the famous people span the globe, from scientists, explorers, athletes, artists, composers, writers, and many more.
