Hyun Bin breakup with Ji Hyeon
Hyun Bin who had just announced his relationship with Ji Hyeon earlier February this year had officially declare that the relationship is now over.
Both Hyun Bin and Ji Hyeon were introduced by friends one year back and had announced their relationship through website and television channels, they even have fans blessing with them.
According to Hyun Bin agency, when the news was announced, their relationship has started to go downhill. Although both have gone their separate ways but both still remain friends.
An insider says that Hyun Bin and Ji Hyeon starts their relationship right after finish shooting ‘My Name is Kim Sam Soon’ and the relationship last for one year but reach a tailspin 2 months ago. Some says that after their relationship goes official, Ji Hyeon is accused of using the relationship to get popularity.
Hyun Bin fans who had supported him say that this is actually ‘shockingly normal’.

Kwon, Song in Hong Kong
Last Sunday, Hallyu stars Kwon Sang Woo and Song Hye Kyo attended the 26th Annual Hong Kong Film Awards. As guests in the ceremony, both superstars presented the Asian Film Awards.
According to a HK newspaper, wherever Kwon goes, his fans go with him. It is reported that his appearance had even won him best presenter. Kwon says he came to HK as an invited guest to the occasion and he likes HK movies and actors/actress like Jet Li and Maggie Cheung. He hopes that he will have a chance to work with local entertainers.
On the other hand, besides attending the ceremony Song came to HK for a magazine shooting. She was accompanied by more than 10 workers, after photo shots she shops around Tsim Sha Cui for desserts. She also shops for other things before going back to her hotel.

Kim Jung Hoon loves Thai cuisine
Korean actor Kim Jung Hoon arrived in Thailand last Wednesday to celebrate a traditional occasion.
Kim’ name is everywhere as ‘Goong’ had just recently been broadcast. Kim’s had also attracted lots of media to the conference which has once again proves Kim popularity in south east Asia.
Kim says although this is the first time he visited Thailand officially but he actually came to Thailand more than 10 times before. He also said that there are a lot of interesting place in Thailand but the most unforgettable things about the Thai are the delicious foods that the country has.

Lee Jun Ki to launch new movie
Lee Jun Ki new movie “Snow” will launched in Japan at May. Lee who flies to Japan last Thursday is proficient in both English and Japan languages has earned him lots of praises.
Lee says different cultures and different country will not stop true love.
In order to celebrate Lee’s birthday which fall on 10th April, fans club had 1500 fans attended the celebration last Sunday.

Jun Ji Hyun lagging in place as advertisement model
‘Korean Best Advertisement Spokesperson/Model’ has been conducted recently by a professional organization. Jun Ji Hyun who is the Queen of the advertisement had drop from no.1 to no. 5 as she is concentrating of entering the mega entertainment industry in Hollywood. Jun is the Queen of advertisement since 2003. Out of the eight surveys conducted by the same company, she came out top in five surveys while runner up in the remaining three surveys.
Until end of last year she faces competition as big names like Lee Young Ae, Kim Tae Hee and Song Hye Kyo also starts modeling for major advertisements. Even though with the fierce competition, Jun Ji Hyun still holds a strong 1st or 2nd place.
At the second half of year 2006, Jang Dong Gun who at the 2nd place overtakes Jun Ji Hyun becomes the king of advertisement while Jun Ji Hyun drops to 5th place.
Both Jang and Jun are modeling for major brands have been absent from the screen for quite a while. An analyst of the entertainment industry says even though Jun is still very popular but she looks unapproachable especially in ‘live’ programs and viewers are bored with her unchanged sexy image.
On the opposite, Jang who is always known as the prince charming had his image changed successfully with modeling in advertisement like ‘Max Beer’ and ‘DS’ where he had shown viewers his playful and warmer side of his character which had gained him lots of plus points.
Those who had recently gain a place in the advertisement industry are Lee Jun Ki (at 4th place) who gain popularity after staring in drama “The King and the clown” and Daniel Henney (at 12th place) after staring in “My name is Kim Sam Soon”.
Korean consumers felt that Jang who is gentle with good looks are suitable to model for clothes and automobile advertisement while the hot pop star Rain is suitable for communication industry.

Rain to learn English language
Rain met up with 62 undergrads from Harvard University before flying off to Taiwan last week. He blurted that during the early days before his popularity surge, there was once he didn’t eat and wash for 6 consecutive days. He also mentioned that he wanted to learn English language to know more girls.

There were 62 undergrads from 19 different countries attended the JYP entertainment, Rain surprise appearance really put a big smile to the undergrads face.
Rain is very busy with his world tour and is working hard to break into the U.S. entertainment industry. Rain had already received a few offers from the states and there will be a new album release soon likely during autumn.

Rain in Ho Chin Minh
“Rain’s Coming” Concert had reached Vietnam, Ho Chin Minh City last Saturday.
When Rain stepped out from the airport more than 1000 fans are shouting for him. This time among girls fans there are also some guys fans welcoming him to HCM.
He told reporter in an interview that his first impression of Vietnam is that there are a lot of motorbikes and lots of ladies in beautiful long dress ‘Ao Dai’.
Rain’s drama <> is very well received in Vietnam.
Rain will be flying to Taiwan on 28th and perform his world concert on 30th.

Eric and Prince ‘Lu’ in movie release press conference
Last Friday, press conferences for two new movies “Devils Game” and “As it is!” were scheduled at 3pm in Seoul. However, some small issues cropped up, Eric was late and Kim Jung Hoon belt was too loose causing untidy appearance.

Han Ga In who has been working together with Eric in the famous drama “Super Rookie” has been resting for a year before start working with Dennis O and Kim Jung Hoon in “Devils Game”. Han also attends the press conference in Seoul.
Han role is a CEO with an advertising company. On the other hand, Eric who plays opposite is supported by Han. Kim Jung Hoon is a heart surgeon, he appears in doc robe and says that it reminds him of his university days. (Kim was an undergrad for dentistry)
When all the actors and actress are standing in for photos, Kim’s belt suddenly falls loose. Luckily Kim reacts fast enough to turn around and helped by a back stage staff.

As for the other movie “As it is!” the press conference is scheduled at 3pm but leading actor Eric was still with the hairdresser at that time. Eric is late and reached Mingdong press conference one hour late at 4pm.
Eric apologies quickly and explained that his manager had made a mistake on the time, he promised that he will appear one hour earlier in the next conference to make up for the mistake.
Eric says he was injured when filming in a movie last year and decided to stop working for a while however he is attracted to a new drama script “Soon”.
Guess we will see another drama from Eric soon, hurray!

New Movie for Lee Da Hae
Da Hae who become famous after staring “My Girl” is the leading actress of the new movie “How are you, Miss?”.
Da hae role in the movie is an orphan who stays with her grandma in village. Her father left her when she was young and her mother died when she is still a child. After her garandma pass away, she went to Seoul to earn a living and unexpectedly won the beauty pageant contest beautifully by wearing the traditional Korean hanbok.

Meeting with Jang Dong Gun
Hallyu star Jang Dong Gun will have a formal meeting called “2007 Jang Dong Gun’s Story” on this coming Thursday in Japan. No entrance fee is imposed for the meet up.
The organizer had decided to let 8000 fans attend. Tomorrow is Jang’s birthday and this meet up can be considered as a birthday celebration for Jang himself. Fans are really happy to hear this as they can celebrate his birthday with him. Though there is no specific program line up on that day but the Japanese fans are very sure that they will hear Jang’s singing.
