Lee Jun Ki in new movie
Since the release of “The king and the clown” Lee Jun Ki had received numerous awards.
Recently, he announced that he will be breaking into China market by the making of “Fly, Daddy”, this movie is expected to go on screen before Chinese New Year.
In the new movie, Lee will appear as a cool kungfu guy. The storyline is a remake of a Japanese Korean novel “Fly, Daddy, Fly” where a 39 year-old cowardly parent who is in deep trouble and how he obey a 19 year-old kungfu master and eventually becomes a hero. In the movie, Lee will be the 19 year-old kungfu master. Lee had requested to have a 7-8 cm scar on his face and will do all the action part by himself with his taekwondo background.
When asked, Lee said he is not worried that his fans won’t be able to adapt to his new style instead he says that as an actor he should try different roles so that viewers will get to see different sides of him. He also told the reporters that there will be 4 stages of training for him and one of them is rock climbing which is the most difficult part for him as he is afraid of height.
This storyline was previously made into a movie by a Japanese producer however the remake of this movie will be done by a Korean director. The shooting site will no longer in Japan but will be in Korea and the main difference between the two is that this time they will have some laughing scene instead of the serious original version.
The movie is target at the Asian market and along with a lot of blockbuster which scheduled to release before Chinese New Year.
The producer company says this movie will be full of sincerity and audience will get caught between laughter and sadness.
It will be a great movie isn’t it?

Lee Da Hae as electronics spokesperson
Lee who was representing a branded Korean electronics as a model will be attending the opening ceremony of the “2006 Win Lose Championship” which will be held by the famous world cup on the 25th this month.
Lee says she is honored that she is invited to such a great event and is happy that she can do something for the Korean football team.

Hyun Bin promote ?Millionaire First Love? in Japan
Leading actor Hyun Bin in “Millionaire First Love” was in Japan to promote the drama which will be going on air at this coming December. He arrived in Japan last Tuesday and almost 1500 of Japanese fans gather at the international airport to welcome him. The numbers that turn up is really unexpected as this is the first time Hyun Bin visits Japan.
Hyun Bin who is also the main actor in MBC dramas “My name is Kim Sam Soon” and “Ireland” is getting famous ever since these two dramas goes on air. Last February, Japanese Magazine name him as no.1 in an ‘Hallyu Movie Star’ survey, which had him on his way following footsteps like Bae Yong Jun and Jang Dong Gun whom are well known in Japan as well.
He is still busy filming “Snow Queen” and in order to visit Japan to promote “Millionaire First Love”, he managed to squeeze some time to do it although for only one day, he managed to attend both interview and the promotion.
There were around 300 different media from newspapers to magazines attended the “Millionaire First Love” promotion. Local reporters said such function whereby so many different media attends is very hard to come by.
Well, Hyun Bin is great isn’t he? He almost top our chart in vote matters last month with only 3% away from the no.1.

Song Seung Hun army expedition

Song held his army expedition in Seoul which includes around 200 pictures and more than 50 pieces of army uniform. Instead of a feud that happened few days ago where some media reported that such expedition is not appropriate.
Song agency says that fans had asked Song to hold such expedition so that they will get to know him more, moreover all the things will be returned to the army once the expedition ends.

Kim Rae Won fans meet up
Yesterday Kim Rae Won held a meeting with his Japanese fans in Seoul. These lucky fans even shake hands with their idol.
Kim new movie “Sun Flower” will be on it’s premiere at this coming Thursday. The story line describe how the actor had to spent 10 years in jail due to a moment of wrong-doing, a youngster who then treat him as his own family and how the family accepted him will touch millions of heart.
Yesterday there were 400 fans accompanied Kim to watch the movie. After the movie they had a discussion about the story line. Kim then went up stage to sing the movie’s soundtrack before going into details about some interesting things that happen during shooting.
Kim says “My biggest hope now is that this movie will be a good seller and I would also like to go for a holiday. Shooting this movie makes me think of my family and how important they are to me. I will appreciate my family even better. This is a sad movie so I would like to be in a comedy to make everybody laugh.”

Bae Yong Jun attended function after 2 years
Korean well-known actor Bae will attend a function called “Hallyu Expo in Asia” on this coming 29th Nov which will be held at Jeju International Centre. It has been two long years since Bae attended such an open function.
According to a reliable source, others VIP will also attend the function. That day afternoon, Bae will be at the opening ceremony before proceeding to meet fans through an event “Bae Young Jun Special’ to thank them.
It is speculated that more than 4000 fans in Japan will be flying over to Jeju that day itself. To date a lot of enquires had been made from other Asia country as well.

Rain brings supper to Song Hye Kyo
Recently, Song is in Korea traditional shooting site for the making of “Wang Jing Yi”. Instead his busy schedule, Rain was seen rushing to the site bringing Song supper.
Rain and Song were both main cast for the drama “Full House” which has 40% of viewing rate that create the legend of having the best drama opening. Back then, viewers see them as a pair and there were even gossips that they are together.
At first, Rain went to the shooting site to pay the production team a visit before bringing supper to Song. In order to thank Rain, Song accompanied him back to his car.
Rain who recently announced that he already had someone in heart had the media and fans wondering whether the mystery girlfriend is Song.
Although “Full house” had finished it’s shooting since 18 months ago but Rain, Song and the drama director keep close touch with each other.
Some says that they always meet up every two months and director Pyo Min Soo also attended the gathering. Director Pyo says “The atmosphere was very good during shooting of “Full House” and the relationship between actors and actresses were quite close too that is why we still had gathering every now and then.” The gathering was suggested by the director.
Both Rain and Song agency denied that they are in a relationship but insists that they are only friends.

Japan Media snap up seats at Song’s press conference
Yesterday, at around 10.30am, Song held a press conference for his “Asean Fans”.
The interview was scheduled at 10.30am however reporters from Japanese media arrived the scene as early as 7.30am just to snatch up a good place for photos.
For his fans in Asia, Song declared that he will display his personal belongings which he had used previously for the last 2 years in army.
Items like photos, videos and things like Song’s army clothes, with more than 100 pieces of his belongings will be on display. The occasion is already approved will be sponsored by the National Defence Ministry. Upon hearing about this occasion, lots of Japanese fans are touched to tears.
After Song released from the army, he became the main news target of the Japanese media Fuji Television which besides having a photo shooting team specially set up for him, they had sent him a special drama invitation too.

‘Cool Guy’ Rain had a sweetheart?
Recently crowned coolest guy in Korea, Rain, declared that he already had a sweetheart in a program screen on Tuesday. He said he hope to have an opportunity to kiss his sweetheart during this coming Christmas.
He added “Although I already have the girl that I really like but still waiting for an opportunity to declare my love for her. I am ready to stay true to the woman I love. I guess maybe this is still a one sided love. If I have a girlfriend I hope that we can stroll along the streets eating ice-cream, buying clothes and in the evening, I wish that we can have a lovely dinner in a cosy environment.”
Rain really hope that he can have a normal date and added on “I heard that there is a place in Seoul somewhere in Mingdong, where the lights will be off just for the lovers to kiss, really hope that I can try.” Before he completed this topic, another singer blurted out “As long as you are in the place on Christmas Eve, you can kiss Rain over there”. Audience was laughing upon hearing this.

“Snow Queen” viewing rate not as expected
When “Snow Queen” had it’s premiere two nights ago, the viewer rating is at it’s low 5.4%. The first episode shows that Hyun Bin is a math genius, he feels that he had indirectly killed his friend so he wanted to be a boxer which was his friends dream back then. Although Hyun Bin acting skills is very good but the premiere rating is unexpectedly low.
In fact at the same time slot, the other channel SBS was having “The King and the Clown” which has the viewing rate of 15.4% while another channel was having a traditional drama which has 43.6% viewer rate, these had caused “Snow Queen” lagging behind.
Hyun Bin who is the leading actor of “My name is Kim Sam Soon” was the legend in terms of viewer rating, we just hope that this is will not hit him hard.
