Portage la Prairie School Division Trustee Elections 2006 6 years as a Trustee in Western School Division (Morden) Was elected Vice-Chairperson for several terms Chaired several committees, including Negotiations, Operations, Finance, Personnel Attended workshops, community focus groups, school events, MAST conventions and meetings If elected my focus will be on ensuring that the resources available are used to benefit the children and teachers in the classrooms as much as possible. I would also like to explore opportunities to increase enrolment in the school division. Parents, teachers, students and citizens deserve and need our best efforts as decision makers. I will strive to educate myself on the issues at hand and explore all options to determine the best way to serve the interests of the school division.
