When i was a kid there was a episode of
"Superman" comic book where Jimmy Olsen
was instructed to build a radio to talk
to mars. Even though, it showed him 
hooking up the VACUUM/CARPET cleaner, and
i knew it was "just a story".....

I wanted to talk to those point-eared 
Martians too!!! (later along came Star Trek)....
