Ego

The ego is not an entity, it is a tension.

Identification is the only disease. Enjoy the ego but never become  fully identified. Don't get stuck because if you're stuck  thinking you're great or you're stuck thinking you're terrible  stuck is stuck  and stuck is not a good state of being.

The ego cannot exist without problems. Be aware of this  destructive game that the ego plays.

The ego is the cause of tremendous misery. It is the ego that separates human beings from existence. It is the ego that makes man an island. Take away the ego and human beings are one with existence rather then separate. The wave is much stronger when it is one  with the ocean rather than separate.
