A PhD. is about regurgitating a lot of bullshit on a final exam.
What they call the intelligence quotient is really the memory quotient. If you have a good memory you do well in school. If not-no matter how intelligent you are-you flunk out.
Colleges have just become business factories to produce efficient machines instead of creative human beings.
Wise people by their very nature don't have a lot of words to say but whatever they have to say is pregnant with significance and will help those people willing to listen clearly.
The mystic will be misunderstood. If he is not misunderstood he is not a mystic. If you say he is good you are wrong-because he is bad also. If you say he is bad you're wrong because he is good also. Then the mind staggers because the mind works in dualities and the mystic transcends dualities.
Share your energy. The more you share the more nature will give back to you. The more you give the more nature will give you back. Nature is inexhaustible. so don't worry. Just keep giving-and giving.
Learning should be a joyous experience instead of a torture where they force you to memorize bullshit knowing full well that you're going to forget 80% in 2 months.
College is a big factory to teach students how to argue about things they know nothing about. Borrowed knowledge doesn't destroy ignorance-on the contrary it only hides ignorance.
From thinking to seeing. Encountering reality without the distraction of the mind.
Finding your original face-the face you had before society wrote all over it. Finding it is the greatest joy. Zen masters call it the blank slate.
Simple truths. Music is pure when the music and the musician are one. Dance is pure when the dance and dancer are one. Art is pure when the art and artist are one.
