I made a ton of mistakes in this hearing. I was trying to do the "right" thing. I said Tommy could see Severn as long as his Mother was present. Never in my wildest dreams did I think she would do what she has done. I was betrayed as a psychotic, depressed, neglectful mother. I had no one there to defend me. I didn't know the custody was going to be discussed until we entered the courtroom. I thought well I was depressed who wouldn't be being beaten and called horrific names constantly. I felt time would show the reality and Tommy would end up in jail again, and Jo would be an ally in raising Severn.
