The Exterminator is the Daleks main weapon although it can be swapped for different weapons.

The Exterminator was made by cutting a piece of aluminium tubing and gluing it into a ping-pong ball. 8 pieces of stiff wire were bent and inserted into the aluminium tubing. A small hole was cut into the opposite side of the ping-pong ball where the tube was glued in place. This allows the firing mechanism to slide in and out. This was then sprayed with silver paint and some lacquer.

The firing mechanism was made from a piece of wooden dowel which has 3 strips of thin aluminium (from an empty coke can) cut to a point at one end and then taped and glued to the end. This was then placed into the gun barrel and attached to a servo on the inside by some stiff wire.
