The Plunger Arm is one of the most recognisable features of a Dalek, made out of ....... a sink plunger! To make the Plunger Arm I inserted a piece of aluminium tubing into a ping-pong ball. I then cut a piece of wooden dowel and screwed on a mini sink plunger. This slotted into the aluminium tubing and was allowed to freely slide in and out. It was then sprayed with several coats of silver paint and then with some lacquer. The Arm was then placed into the gun box. Alternatively the Plunger Arm can be replaced with a claw.
