Great Start for Children's Ministry
Cindy Coule
Augusta, GA  - In August of 2006, the Children's Ministries of The Sanctuary started with a group of thirty wonderful boys and girls.  Each week, they met for a time of Bible stories, games, snacks and crafts.

By the end of October, the children began working diligently on the Christmas program, "I Witness News: Live From Bethlehem."  Every child had a part.  In less than two months, the children had everything ready, and did an amazing job performing the songs, motions and drama!

In January, we started Awana, an exciting program which encourages children to study the Word of God.  Children earn awards memorizing scripture, participation in the Awana games, bringing friends and much more.  They also earn bucks for the Awana Store.

In February, we will launch our new children's program on Sunday called "Heirport." Children will stop at the ticket booth, pick up their passport, and make their way to exciting destinations throughout the world as they study the Word.
