Within NHS, many opportunities to participate in service projects are available. Each member of NHS must complete 24 hours of service per year. Out of those 24 hours, 12 hours must be completed within our chapter as a part of the NHS group. The remaining 12 hours are to be completed outside of NHS within the community. These hours are to be completed by May.

You will be able to check on the status of many of our projects here. Be sure to get involved!

Toys for Tots Holiday Party: Holiday party for NHS members. Members will bring an unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots drive. Will be held on December 20th.

Pizza Fest: During basketball season, will ask for donations of pizza (one regular and one specialty) to determine which pizzeria is the best in Chicopee for 2007. More to come soon.

NHS Tutoring: Held each Wednesday and Thursday after school in Room 436 (Mrs. Hill). One-on-one tutoring will also be available upon request.

Fundraisers Cinnamon Bun and Pretzel mixes. Selling to raise money for t-shirts. Completely optional. All orders are due in by Monday, November 4th.

NHS T-Shirts: Members have a choice of a black polo with the gold NHS emblem or the "Just Honor It" t-shirt. Money will be due by an upcoming date. See Annette if you have any questions.

Blood Drive: Tentative Date: Friday, December 14th. All members of the public welcome to attend and help to save a life.

VA Service Project: More to come soon.

NHS Induction Ceremony: To be held in the spring.

Scooperbowl: To be held in the spring.

Parks Clean-up: To be held in the spring to celebrate Earth Day.
