WELCOME! Frequently Asked Questions and how to submit your site for inclusion on this page. Friday, 20-Jun-2008 04:10:25 EDT Some sites have been removed to the Dead Link page! Family Pages by SurnameDon't rely strictly on the surname as many people list multiple surnames. Generally they list the first surname as the one that has the most content on their page, or the one that has the closest connection to them. Many Sites have a descriptive name for their site with no reference to surnames. If you have a website that contains information about such a family (or, families), please email Ann Allen Geoghegan, Alabama Families Site Webmaster, with your site's URL and brief description for posting on this page. Please place ALGENWEB Families in the subject line, to expedite entry. Please provide a Title for your page, otherwise it will be listed in alphabetical order by first surname you provide. Q. Where will you place my site in the listing? A. It will be placed in alphabetical order by the first surname you list, unless you provide a title for your page. If you provide a title the title will be listed in alphabetical order. Q. Can I have it listed under multiple alphabet listings for all my different surnames. A. No, but we have a search engine on the site, and you may list all of your surnames behind your Title. Q. How long will it take to get my site listed once I send it in? A. Usually the next day, however as volunteers it may take a bit longer. If you do not see it posted within 3 days please email me as it is possible of course I did not receive it. Q. Why do you want ALGENWEB in the subject line? A. This gets your site posted faster.
