I
have just confirmed our team photos for the
practice on November 12th at 3:00 pm at
Barrett West Arena - Lietrim.
Please remember your
green jerseys and socks.
I
will hand out order forms to everyone before the
photos. The association does provide a
team and individual photo.
Also, the sponsor bars are complete. I
will discuss with Tim when the best time would
be to collect all the jerseys to have the bars
sewn on.

All
I have
just finalized some of our arrangements
with the "67's strength training group".
We will have
our first session on Thursday, Oct 19th
at 6:30 to 7:30 pm. The address is
2615 Lancaster Road. Unit #9.
Beside the Minto arena.
The girls
will be dividend into two groups.
They will participate in some spinning
exercises and some strenght training
exercises.
The first
session is complimentary. If
things go well, I will organize 8 more
sessions throught the season (2 per
month). The cost is not final but
it will probably be $125 per hour.
Therefore, we will get 9 sessions for
$1000. This is great value.

Thank you
for all of your feedback concerning the
replacement tournament.
I have
tallied the votes (12-2) and it looks
like we will attend the Kanata
tournament at the end of Nov. I
had 2 families that did not vote (I was
one).
I will
contact Kanata tomorrow and make
arrangements for us.

Hello,
The rink of dreams tickets have now been
received. We will have 140 tickets to
sell for:
Saturday October 21ST
VS NEW JERSEY

Tickets - $50.00 each (300 section)
Please advise me as soon as possible how
many tickets you know for sure you will need
for the game (family, friends etc).
Once I have received that information, we
will know how many extras we need to sell
for people to solicit colleagues etc. to
purchase tickets. For those of you who are
not aware of what the "Rink of Dreams" is.
The girls will play a game before the Senators
game that evening. I believe the game
time will be at 5 pm. The girls are
given Senators jerseys and will meet
an Ottawa Senator before the game. The
players that the girls will meet may be
Eaves or Vermette. Parents, family and
friends are able to watch this game if they
wish. Following the game, everyone must
leave the stands and re-enter the building
with their game tickets. Parents will be
asked to take all the equipment back to
their vehicle before entering the facility
again for the Senators game. Only
coaches and managers are allowed to take the
girls to the dressing area in the secure NHL
player areas.
If you wish to video take the girls game you
may however, there is also a DVD you can buy
for $25.00 of the game including the
announcing etc. If people want to order a
videos of the girls game there has to be a
minimum of 10 orders.
Seats are in Sections 311, 312 and 313
Rows L, K, J and H. We have 70 to sell.

FUTURE SENATORS INFO SHEET
(Formerly Rink of Dreams)
GAME DATE: Based on
schedule and availability. Each
season The Ticket Guy pre-books
5 or 6 dates and times.
TICKETS: Ticket
prices vary depending on the
game. They can be anywhere
from $35 to $50.
Tickets will have a face
value of between $50 and $75
and will be located in the
300 level.
SELLING: Each team is
responsible for selling 100
tickets each, for a total of
200 tickets to that night’s
Senators game. (At first
glance this total may seem
very hard to reach, but
every team that does it with
me has been able to sell far
more than the minimum
requirement.) Parents,
players and all those in
attendance MUST have a
ticket to enter the building
to watch the players play.
ICE TIME: You are on
the ice from for 50 minutes
that afternoon BEFORE the
Ottawa Senators game.
ARRIVAL TIME: Players
MUST arrive at Gate #3 No
Later than 45 minutes prior
to the ice time.
Players who are late will
have a harder time getting
down to the ice level.
Players will be met at Gate
#3 and brought down to the
changing area. Parents
do NOT accompany the
players.
PARKING:
Parents and spectators
should park in Lot #4.
There will be a $10 charge
associated with the parking.
After the game the equipment
should be returned to the
car. Always keep your
ticket on your person when
going to the parking lot
with equipment.
CHANGING AREA:
The changing area for the
Future Senators game is not
a dressing room. It is
a cordoned off (and closed
off) area down in the lower
area of the Corel Centre,
VERY near to where the
players enter for the game.
Parents and siblings will
not be allowed down in the
changing area. Coaches
and trainers will assist the
players in tying their
skates as necessary.
The players can bring
cameras and “Autograph”
books down with them,
however there will not
likely be a lot of chance
for autographs, as the
players will be preparing
for the game that night.
TICKETS: All
players and spectators MUST
enter through gate #3 and
should have their ticket in
their possession.
Seating will be General
Admission in Section 106 for
the Rink of Dreams Game, but
after spectators will be
required to move to their
seats for the Senators Game.
WAIVERS: There is a
waiver form which must be
completed and handed in by
the coach/manager prior to
the players going on the
ice.
SWEATERS: For
the Future Senators game the
teams will wear their own
jerseys. Future
Senators Sweaters will be
given out after the game.
I would encourage the
players to wear their Team
sweaters during the Senators
Game as well.
EXTRAS: The
players will each be
introduced over the Public
Address system, as well the
players will be shown on the
Jumbotron, the National
Anthem will be played, and
music will be played during
the warm-up and during all
stoppages in play.
VIDEOS: DVDs of
the game may be ordered
ahead of time. DVDs
will cost $25 each.

Many of the
tournaments entered this year are
requesting the teams to have a photocopy
of players birth certificate and photo
of the player.
Could you
please provide Louise or myself with a
photo of your daughter and a photocopy
of your daughters birth certificate.
I believe
Louise still has the copies of the
players from last year's team.
Please verify with her.
Thanks
