VERANDA SOIREE

7/31/09

Our most recent update the crew and I have been working for Greg Jone of JONES HEATING & AIR, Heating and Aircondition professionals in the area.

In the photo's below this project consists of many small side projects and a few big ones as well. For this project we split off into two crews, First we removed an old existing deck, stairs and a landing that was attached to an unfinished Florida Room or Sun Room as our 2nd crew worked on re-finishing the interior of the Sun Room.

The interior part of the Sun Room was wired for Cable TV and wall recepticals and for the future if the home owner decided to do so we framed and wired for a wall heating & air unit.

BeforeAfter

In Progress

Although this structure is going to sit on the existing padio blocks below, we removed a grid pattern in various strateagic locations, dug footings and poured concrete to help support the extra wieght. Once the contrete cured we replaced the padio blocks to concealing the ugly concrete footings.

The area shown below is the framing box for the stairway.

In the photo below the edges of the deck have been trimmed and the railing support post have been set.

Meanwhile the inside project moves along steady. Below are before during and after photos of this jobs progress.

In the photo below Hardie Board's verson of T-111 is installed. The home owner has the option of enclosing the windows with glass but opted to screen in the openings. We used this concrete based material because if any moisture got to is it would hold up better then wood paneling or sheetrock. This paneling, also known as Hardie BAcker, takes paint very well.

Finished Ceiling Pits.

Random finished interior pits below.

In the photo below are several picture of the siding, also a Hardie Backer product.

In the photo below notice the scribe work of the trim siding peice closly follows the conture of the fieldstone siding of the house.

In the final group of pictures below we framed a deck around a tree at the owner's request.

Thanks, hope you enjoyed.
