Look closely at pictures #2, #3 & #4 below. The glass used is custom etched glass just under $500 per piece. In photo #1 is a before shot of the area.

Needless to say I was very nervous clamping the wood framing together. Had I measured and cut just the smallest amount too small the glass would have shattered when I clamped the frames together; too loose and the glass would rattled and shake when opening and closing.

Yes that is me above doing some final sanding before installation.
