REIKI
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life energy’ It is healing energy in its truest sense. When the Reiki practitioner channels this life energy through their hands to the recipient, it activates the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It reinforces the recipient’s ability to take responsibility for their life, and helps them to make the necessary changes in attitude and lifestyle to promote a happier and healthier life
Reiki, as a healing system, is safe, natural, and holistic, treating many acute and chronic conditions and bringing about spiritual, mental and emotional well being.
Reiki is suitable for everyone, including the very young and the elderly, pregnant women and those recovering from surgery. It is also a great tonic, and if you are in good health Reiki will help you stay that way.
Reiki treatments typically last for an hour to an hour and a half. A typical scenario is as follows.
1st Treatment: Recipient experiences balancing of energy, relaxation, and re-energisation.
2nd & 3rd Treatments: The healing energy is moving into the situation – client becomes aware of underlying issues – working towards resolution
As a Reiki practitioner, Peter Gleeson, often combines both Reiki and Horstmann Technique (see link below) in order to assist his clients in their healing process. Peter insists that it is the clients who heal themselves….taking responsibility for their own well-being….he is purely a facilitator
Peter also teaches Reiki
