CARAL TOUR
Duration: Full Day
SEASON: All Year.
You will be picked up from your hotel. Departure from Lima on a Local Bus Line, towards the North, going by towns that are located in these inter-Andean valleys that come out to the coast. Caral, is the symbol of the political power and religious of the first Peruvian state. The discovery of this sacred city, was made in 1994, being considered now, the oldest civilization in America. The circular plaza is formed by a series of central platforms that reach about 20 mts. of highness.The area is about 65 hectares. The presence of irrigation channels could of been for agriculture purposes since a great number of persons had to eat and the discoveries of fish bones and mollusks meant that they were fishermen, also. The Tour takes around an hour that will be leaded by a local guide. On the way back you can have a small lunch and in the afternoon arrival to Lima.NOTE: In case the river cross, the water is high, the entry to the site will be done by the section of the bridge which from that point there is a small hike, to be done to the Central part of it.
MARKAWASI TOUR
Duration: 3 Days/2 Nights
SEASON:April to October.
Day 01.- Lima - San Pedro de Casta.
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning. Departure from Lima to Chosica, to the bus station to go to towards San Pedro de Casta located in the foothills of the Andes. The bus will arrive at mid-day to the village. After getting set in the lodging, have lunch and small walk to see around the place. Overnight.Day 02.- Visit the Markawasi Plateau.
Early in the morning after breakfast leaving to go to the meseta of Markawasi, considered one of the most imposing of the Sacred Mountains on Earth, its a 3 square kilometers plateau, located above San Pedro de Casta, that through a hike, you will be able to see from a point or a specific direction, many rock figures that have multiple shapes and also there are these peculiar rocks that transmit this special energy force where many persons that come from different parts of the world, use them as a body and spiritual healing; putting their hands over it and receiving the energy waves that comes from the heart of the mountain. Lunch at the meseta. Hiking back to return in the afternoon to the village. Overnight.Day 03.- San Pedro de Casta - Lima.
Very early, leaving San Pedro on the bus to go to Chosica to head back to Lima. Arrival after mid-noon to your hotel.
