BLACK and WHITE
Life as we know it,
Is it black or is it white?
Why does it have to be that way?
Because, just because they say it must be,
Doesn't mean it IS.
Walking the treadmill of life isn't easy.
It isn't black and it isn't white.
Sometimes it's gray.
Like the gray clouds before a storm, or
As fluffy as a powder puff --
It can be verrrry smooth and soft
Then again it can be violently harsh.
Colors, you might say
Are more appealing to the eye.
But "real" life is black, white, and
Sometimes gray.
That's how it is, what else can I say?
Life is like that!!
