Q. What will the G-Box do to my gas mileage?
A. The G-Box has not shown to decrease or increase fuel economy significantly.  It is possible that you may gain or lose 1/2 mpg in either direction, however for the most part fuel economy is not affected.

Q. Will I have to run premium fuel or change my thermistat like the JET V-Chip requires?
A. We did not run into any situation with the stage 1 G-Box where premium fuel was required.  We estimate that 10% of engines will need premium fuel with the Stage 2 G-Box, however the stage 2 is still in the prototype phase and currently unavailable.  Premium fuel may enhance the performance gains acquired from these units, but is not required.  Changing the thermistat will not be necessary for the use of either unit.

Q. Will the G-Box put extra stress on my engine?
A. Testing has shown the G-Box to be non-harmful, in fact beneficial due to it's signal error correction when high temperatures exist under the hood.
